I absolutely love they did that. As well as the shot of Rimuru, Shion, and Ranga walking forward was the cover of the same manga volume as Walpurgis, that they adapted for the opening. Major praise to whoever thought of that transition.

i'm so hyped that there's an actual moment that tensura was nominated in the shonen category for a manga award because i always felt like this show is closer to that genre than isekai. no wonder it's the first manga series based on a light novel that has over 25 million copies sold. 😍rimuru is just on another level fr.

Tensura several time got nominated in that shonen kondasha manga award.and previous time it took the 1st prize award also (the 46th best kondasha manga award events 1st prize). And yeah tensura now falls under shonen catagory if you don't know.
