The reason season 2 part 1 felt weird was that they took all the slow stuff from the light novels of season 1 and tossed them into season 2 so they could finish what they wanted.

The spoiler that person gave you is very likely from the web novel. Luckily, the anime is adapting from the Light Novel, which is VERY different from the web novel. Some small bits might be the same, but for the most part it isn't. So you're safe. To specify (minor spoilers): The person who gave Hinata information on Rimuru is still the same, but he's not the "main villain" of the story by any means.

Walpurgis isn't a person. Rather, it's the name of an event that happens in S2P2. Ramiris was talking about it being invoked in the trailer and the unnamed guy with red hair at the end is looking forward to it being fun. The manga is currently at the Clayturd fight, so manga readers should also be aware of how that fight is going, but I'm not gonna spoiler anything here for the anime onlies. You'll either need to read the manga (totally recommend it) or wait until it happens in the anime

Clayman isn't really a fake demon lord he isn't awakened but he's the same as karion and frey but well they're all part of the demon lord council so they are officially demon lords and being awakened is pretty rare because not everyday you have someone killing 10k people by themselves and calling it a day that would be a disaster it's just rimuru is well we'll call him special since only a few people in the council has awakened so far.... Also you can't really underestimate clayman i mean look at milim she may seem cute but she's a walking disaster and a demon lord isn't called a demon lord for nothing though he may be weaker than rimuru....he's the puppet master for a reason. I hope season 3 will come after part two ends because it'll be amazing i want zegion on the screen now... He'll probably appear around season 4 or something i hope there is...

The first 4~5 episodes or so were actually things that were supposed to be in Season 1, but if we go with the 8 episodes per Light Novel volume consistency then that means the season would've ended with Rimuru going to the kids which probably isn't that good of a point to end the season. Since Charybdis wasn't designed to be a hugely climactic fight and we have no emotional connection to the kids. So they skipped alot of Volume 3 and Volume 4 stuff.

To be clear there's no rule that a false demon lord must be weaker than a true demon lord, the awakening is a power up but you can be a true demon lord and be weak since there's a bunch of requirements like the 10k souls sacrificed that you might not have cleared no matter how strong you get. There's a few false demon lords who are stronger than Rimuru at the moment.

Wrong. Clayman IS a real Demon Lord. He's a Demon Lord Seed, which is an actual evolution state/rank. Same for Frey and Carrion. the "True Demon Lord" thing is "Shin Maou" in Japanese. While "Shin" means "True/True Form", it is usually used in Japanese fiction as just an indicator of a higher more powerful version of something. It does NOT means that the lower version isn't a real Demon Lord. The best example for this is the Orc Disaster. It evolved into a Demon Lord and through that gained the Demon Lord Seed (hence why Demon Lord and Demon Lord Seed can be used interchangeably). Then, if the Orc Disaster had not been killed by Rimuru, it would've gone and killed enough humans to become a True(Shin) Demon Lord, or more precisely an Awakened Demon Lord (which is how Demons like Diablo refer to True Demon Lords). Carrion and Frey both evolved similarly into Demon Lord Seeds, but they didn't gather enough human souls to become Awakened Demon Lords. Clayman was given a Demon Lord Seed through magical means that forcefully evolved him into a normal Demon Lord (which is similar to how monsters evolve just from being named). Rimuru acquired his Demon Lord Seed by taking the one that the Orc Disaster had. That is why Rimuru didn't evolved further at that time. This is why they aren't just self-proclaimed demon lords, but are instead actual real Demon Lords. It's just that they aren't 2nd Stage/Awakened Demon Lord.
