Thanks for cleaning up the place. So many people need to be educated on how to take care of the environment.
@OmarDoinStufАй бұрын
I like showing the clean ups. My hope is to inspire others to do the same and, in the long run, to not leave a mess in the first place.

Cool set up.

Thanks!

Good cleaning up everything else but the egg shells are natural compost. Anyways, great video
@OmarDoinStufАй бұрын
Thanks, and yes you are right about the eggs. I do have to say though, if I leave eggs, you leave eggs, the next person and so on. You end up with a mess. That’s why I cleaned it up, and it also takes a year or two for it to compost(in the ground).
@JaypherАй бұрын
Eggs is not something naturally grown at Roosevelt Lake, therefore it shouldnt be tossed like that.
@OmarDoinStufАй бұрын
👍 Bad part is a large number of people think that if it biodegradable, it’s ok to toss it anywhere.

Very smart to build a rock fire pit. Its super dry out here and all it takes is a gust of wind to blow embers around and start a fire. Not asking for the route but i wish i knew how to get wherever you camped.

With a little research, I’m sure you can find it. But there are many amazing camping spots all over Arizona. Get out explore and have some fun.

Phenomenal videos, I’m really enjoying them. I have a similar set when I go camping, mostly in Arizona and California. Canopy is a nice addition, do you mind me asking what size it is?
@OmarDoinStufАй бұрын
Thanks for watching. Glad you are enjoying the videos. The canopy was gifted to me. Now that you ask the question, I have no idea. I think its 6x6. Not that big but a great piece of gear to have in the desert.

Thank you, yes it does look very handy to have. looking forward to your next video.

Wish more people were as educated as you on the topic of responsible recreation. Kudos to you! How long does it take you to get all your camp stuff setup? Any more than 10 minutes and I start to get annoyed 😂
@OmarDoinStufАй бұрын
It takes me about 30 minutes to get everything set up. I planning on doing some upgrades, which will make set up time like 5-10 minutes. Hopefully next year, all that good stuff will happen.

I envy you Omar. I've done a little exploring of the backside of Roosevelt but not as much as I'd like to. I saw where you were in relation to Windy Hill so I think I know which road you went down. Watch out for the renegade cows.
@OmarDoinStufАй бұрын
Have fun exploring some more. Let me know if you get to camp next to the lake.

Where did you purchase that stand up umbrella? I need that👍
@OmarDoinStufАй бұрын
It’s was gifted to me. I’m sure you can find it online. It also has a fitting to where you can use it at the beach. When I get the chance I’ll look at what brand and reply back, to let you know.

@kitkat7216 Sorry for the late reply. It’s WonderShade - wondershade.com is on the bag.

Graffiti, sure 😉😉

Sounds crazy, but true.

I wish people would stop leaving eggshells, orange peels, apple cores all around. Does it biodegrade? Yes. Does it belong out there? No.
@OmarDoinStufАй бұрын
Good point 👍 Unfortunately a large number of people still think it’s ok if it biodegradable.

Then say your for trump 😂😂😂
@OmarDoinStufАй бұрын
I did debate showing it, because of the politics, but I see it as important way to educate people about graffiti in nature. I hope everyone looks it up!
@jondressel6594Ай бұрын
It's rocks bro not graffiti. no different than your weird obsession with fire pits and rocks. 😂
@OmarDoinStufАй бұрын
It’s not common knowledge, but true.

Great outing Omar. Everything you did was fine. Take care.
@OmarDoinStufАй бұрын
Thanks Joe, I appreciate it. I am expecting more comments about it, considering it’s not known and sounds weird. When you learn about it makes sense though.
@randyc9656Ай бұрын
I agree nothing different than that big circle rock fire pit graffiti, if you wanted to stay non-political, you should’ve tore it up on video
@OmarDoinStufАй бұрын
Fixing established fire pits, at an established dispersed camping spot is acceptable. I’m not saying I know all the rules but I’ve educated myself on what is acceptable and not, while out on public land.
