Thank you for all the kind comments on the latest video about me being sick. Just before I started the walk I consumed a large amount of electrolyte powder and water. Unfortunately one of the electrolyte sachets had congealed and I guess had gone off. I started feeling a bit off after about 20 minutes of walking and obviously it got a lot worse later. Also I did consume another litre of it about half way into the walk which compounded the problem. In the end though all worked out by next day. Tony, you are real… this is one of the many reasons we love your channel! Everyone gets sick at inopportune times; can’t be helped! You became dehydrated in my opinion, on your trip and those electrolytes didn’t dissolve in your system. As you walked and sweated, you needed fluids to dilute the undissolved bits. I felt so bad for you…sweet Bruno! He knows you so well and wanted to comfort you. As much as I loved Bruce, Bruno is fast stealing my heart! Thank you for trudging on here. I am barely in the video and I concur what you said. He looks a bit grey to start with. Profuse sweating and lack of water set in on top of that. Guarantee he had severe dehydration by the tops.

@@Lissa71 Dehydration was what I was thinking too. When he was coming back from the Tarn after getting water, I thought, “WOW! he looks like death”. So glad he started feeling better. That could have been really bad.

I had a camping trip last summer and after many invites my family finally went camping with me. We got there late, rainy, set everything up and I planned for 2 days. It was summer but it got so hot in the afternoon the next day that I worried for my dogs. One a puppy. I made the decision while my relatives were swimming to pack up camp and leave as soon as they returned from their swim. I didn't think it would get that hot, and normally I camp north in the summer, but my niece wanted to swim, so we camped south. Sometimes, things happen. I'm glad you show the bad with the good.

Oh my Tony, do sorry you have been overcome by heat, & exhaustion though this is surely a teaching lesson in this, in that it is a reminder to all campers to be prepared for emergency situations. Thanking you for sharing the helicopter rescue if needed. & your device to contact rescue should it be necessary. . Thinking now about a method to replentish electrolites should this happen to me. Will be researching some type of packets that could bd added to water or even the tea. To quickly replentish my system. Bruno was so preciius to cuddle closer to you in his way to comfort you. You are so blessed to have such an amazing dog. Blessings upon you two & of course Anne .

feel better Tony! it looks as if you were extremely dehydrated. As we get older our bodies can not tolerate the same. I've had a couple dogs that have known something was wrong & stuck with me until I assured them I was better & I was ok. They are such a joy to have around, & other time such a pain in the behind! I wouldn't worry about not doing your regular routine. I'm sure most of us understand. Sometimes you-tube has to know that your health comes 1st too! I’m glad you were feeling better. You had us worried for a minute there. Have you thought about using a water hydration bladder bag for the 3 hr walk up to keep your self hydrated when it’s warm out. Bruno was a very good boy checking on you.

Tony dont ever apologize for feeling sick. I am so sorry you are having to go through this. Feeling sick is terrible and not fun at all. Bruno is being so sweet. Dogs are so intuitive. Good thing your doing lots of fluids. Just take care of yourself.

I just started watching your videos, I also watch another camping video and like to live through you both vicariously 😊. I just recently watched your tribute to Brucie and my heart broke so sorry.
