Royal Malaysian Navy will have six new Gowind class stealth frigates.The ships is expected will be operational by 2017. The Royal Malaysian Navy show great interest in the Mistral-class amphibious assault ships (french) and Dokdo-class amphibious assault ship (Korea) also known as a helicopter carrier, to replace the KD Inderapura that was caught on fire back in 2009.Royal Malaysian Navy is the first in the world to use Gowind class stealth frigates. World class navy? I don't think so.. Best in quality it would be Singapore, best in quantity you would consider Indonesia There's very long way to go to be world class navy, but I think Malaysia is on the right track
