Hi Bill, Your filming to Tenterfield under the canopy of trees with your choice of music was beautiful. The museum, thought the mirrored window was ingenious, only use the train bathroom when moving... lovely! The Trike Shed, who wouldn't t love to take a spin on any one of those contraptions. Admit it, the other man who thought the female mannequin was real was actually the male mannequin! (I thought she was real too) And thanks for walking out to the turn table, it was interesting how it was lined with bricks. I saw one in use in North Conway, New Hampshire if I remember correctly. When I travel, I try to find small scenic railways, 2-4 hour jaunts. Would love to take a longer version. I see your country has quite a few scenic passenger trains to ride. Have you ever rode on any of them? As always your video has sparked me to do more research on the area. "Storm birds", are they a type of gull that comes in from the ocean? I hope all is well with you! Laura

Hi Laura, hope your well,I finally managed to get into the museum as there were times it was closed, those birds I'm not sure about them Ade who lives nearby said they were Kole migrating from New Guinea, and someone else mentioned storm birds, when I listen again I can also hear Magpie,Crow,Seagull,it is an interesting museum and the turntable would be great to see operating, there are not many remnants left of the old railway system,I filmed an old bridge with the drone last year on episode 95 looks ready to collapse ,this area is in the region of New England . Have you heard of the Australian singer Peter Allen ,he was from Tenterfield and he even had a hit called 'Tenterfield Saddler'. I did beep over my reaction when I saw the mannequin it looked so real. That row of trees should be in Autumn colours soon, lots of red,a beautiful way to enter a town.Well thanks for your great comment glad you enjoyed and hope your thawing out over there.Take care Laura. Bill

Hey Bill, I just read your introductory comment on matching the music to the passing of the trees into Tenterfield. Guess I picked up on it without realizing you purposely arranged it. You might think me silly, but I actually dwelled on this visual imagery as I worked in the yard today. Cutting brings again and wishing I was elsewhere! And yes it is starting to thaw on the surface, water running, mud! The tips of the daffodils are poking through and the songbirds are starting to appear. That does not mean it could not snow again, a month to go. I looked up the koel birds. They have a hauntingly beautiful sound. I thought the "storm birds" might have referred to seagulls. When we get storms off the the ocean they tend to come inland. As for Peter Allen, I had to look him up. I did not recognize "Tenterfield Saddlery", what a sad background. I did know " I Go To Rio", and some of the other songs he wrote for others singers. And I did not know there was another place called New England on the planet! We are known for the changing of colors in Autumn, especially the maple trees. Do you have maple syrup? You must...wide world commerce. Looking forward to your next adventure Bill! Laura

I was reading another story on Wallangarra station. It just wasn't the track size they couldn't agree upon. If you look at the Station roof . One is different to the other side.
