The safe angle for ladders should be 70 degrees not 60 deg. 3 people well known to me died here in Australia by falling off from ladders. Therefore please correct the angle in your teaching in future. I am a registered teacher here in Australia.

@@RubiTheresa The best way of getting about 70 degrees by the Trade people in the field is to keep the ladder about 1/3 of the height of the ladder from the wall. Mathematical proof is cos 70deg. This means base distance/height of the ladder. You are doing well in your maths teaching and I like it! I use Inclinometer to measure the heightsof huge buildings / trees before I introduce the lesson Trigonometry.
