Who told you that? The people in the video are in America where exposure to Tibetan language, culture and Tibetan related stuff is limited still they can speak Tibetan and play Dranyen. I see many Chinese grown up or born in America assimilated despite being bigger in population and having much more resources so thats not specific to Tibetans. Majority live in India where they learn Tibetan language, dance, instruments, and other things in school. Also, higher institutions exist where Tibetans get specialized education in language, dance and songs, or things like thangka making and wood carving spending.
