Psalms 5:9-13 reference God's protection of the righteous from wickedness, for anyone curious. My assumption is that the player character did something unforgivable in the forest, hence the disfigured appearance in the mirror much like that of the many monsters seen throughout. Upon (literally) reflecting upon their true nature they are "banished" the same as the things throughout the game. Never opened a bible though so perhaps I misinterpreted.

Most of the horror genre today is just a protagonist who did some bad thing and is now suffering the consequences. Don't which trope is worse, this or love triangle in tv shows.

I wanna see "They're the same picture" meme of Pam from The Office of Teo's drawings at 30:59 because I think it would be a great meme. Like it's the clip of the scene but instead if Pam, it's Teo cropped out from his camera, transparent background, saying "it's basically the same" or something like that.
