1:14:30 ish. I would say that as a Singaporean, that is true. The academic stress is crazy and it's either "you adapt or you dont", meaning, you either manage to tolerate the stress or you stress the fk out and probably contemplate suicide when you fail. I managed to be the former, and just cruise through life, barely batting an eye to Cs or Fs, but I know a lot of friends who start breaking down when they see a C or lower. Some just dropped out of school and pursued a "different school path" (we had different schooling systems for different academic standards for lack of better terms). Anyway, I was just a lucky person when it came to academics and managed to cruise till Uni and is now in grad school, even with my flippant attitude to grades, but that's probably what saved me from a lot of stressful nights and breakdowns. Secondary school seems like what Teo is referring to, with the 8-6pm school life, since it is mandatory to have an extracurricular (which is 3-6pm). Primary school was chiller tho, Im sure I went home at 2pm. It's just as you approach primary 5 or 6 (11/ 12 years old), you get supplementary lessons from the teacher after school which lasts till 5 probably. Anyway, tough school life in Singapore, now that I'm in the US, their uni system just seems SOOOO easy in comparison :/
