Please read to give help: I've never understood why people throw the knife so much. Or not take their time. Or not slice the bullets. Or even try to catch the bullets at all. I know people have fun with realtime action but when no progress is made and they try over and over I don't understand. Either way I really do love seeing peoples' first times in VR in hopes that I'll have just as much fun my first time. Seeing Teo's pure enjoyment, even in frustration, brings me closer and closer to make the purchase. I just don't know which "console" (i don't know the proper term for the company headsets) to choose. I think with Vive(s) you get access to both the vive store and steam store for games, but not the Valve(s) or Oculus(es). I really don't mind about price, or set-up, but I just want to know which one seems to be the best for the sole purpose of fun and entertainment. I think the separate finger thing is cool, but not getting to play certain games is concerning to me. Please help with comments. First-hand experience is preferred, but all comments help further my understanding. Thanks in advance.

Martini Pictures hello I have owned both “headsets” as I really enjoy vr gaming thay are just as good as the other but with the vive your really paying for the name but for me I really enjoyed the oculus as it fit really nice on the nose and back of the head witch I did find annoying on the vive and after about 30 minutes to an hour I would get pins and needles on my nose (its a strange experience). Both of the head sets are amazing quality as long as you monitor is better then 720p I’m still not sure why but I found the makes the games so much better also the controller are good but I did fined on both companies they felt cheap and could easily break. You said that no being able to play certain games is concerning but I can’t see why most game developers with add them to both in the future this might mean you wouldn’t be able to play them at the moment but maybe soon Like I said there are 👍 and 👎 with both so at the end of the day it more up to you If you want any more information please ask and I will try and answer them

George Haggerty I have a prebuilt pc from iBuyPower that says it’s “ready for VR” and all of the drivers for my Rtx 2070 say it has everything to run it (but I don’t know about streaming/recording vr). Sorry I just saw this now.

I also have never tried VR. EVERY video of an oculus rift or HTC Vive made the experience seem extremely first gen and since then not a single true second gen product has come out. I wouldn't even consider the Index second gen, but it is by far the closest. I am waiting for second gen to try.
