Hellooo, to finish off the Japan series I decided to make one last giga-video with all the footage from the various film photography trips I was able to experience in Japan. I'm thinking this could be cool to just put on in the background while working on something, a bit like a photography version of a study-with-me video :D Also big thank you to Squarespace for sponsoring the video! Head to www.squarespace.com/teocrawford to save 10% off your first purchase of a website or domain using code "TEOCRAWFORD". I hope you enjoy it, have a good week!

This was not only a great background vid you took all the giga time to make, but I'm watching it too. It's therapeutic, soothing and eases my soul. That song choice in the video around 2:57... PERFECT. Would love to get the artist and name of the song. That's the good stuff! Thank you again from Texas for bringing this video to the front. LOVE to see more of this.

The beauty of Japan looks so expensive and was not built overnight. It's like visiting a tourist spot, but every corner of the village and city is constructed like a tourist destination. No wonder many people admire it and continue to visit to see it firsthand. Sorry if wrong..

Very nice. :-) One thing... 2 hours of calm videography in Japan. You videoed, you did not film. :-) Film, filming, and filmmaking are the most misused words in the industry. 🙂 Digital Video and film require different skill sets. Having DIFFERENT historical and TECHNOLOGICAL timelines spanning 150 years. Have pride and knowledge of the gear we use including the words that describe what we do. Our tools are Digital Video, Non-linear, and CGI. We are moviemakers, not filmmakers. We do what film wished it could. We are Videographers and/or cinematographers. 🙂 We video or are videoing, we do not film. That's the other RARE professionals who know how to use film and film cameras, like an ARRIFLEX 435 Panavision R-200 and Steenbeck flatbed film editors. Know the difference and have a better understanding of the craft. You will also stand out in an industry polluted with point-and-shoot "pros". Respect to you.✌♥

@@teocrawford Also, no such thing as analog photography. Another misuse. There is Film Photography and Digital Photography. Example: SLR vs DSLR People say analog photography, because, due to misinformation, they have to come up with some other way of defining film photography because they refer to Digital Vidoe as filming. When a film camera is used its filming, when a Digital Video camera is used it's VIDEOING. :-) Now you have learned something. Respect! :-)

As somebody that's lived in Tokyo for a few years, and still go back to Japan bi-annually I can at least safely say that *NOBODY CARES* in Japan about you taking pictures or not. It's quite refreshening, as where I'm originally from (Netherlands) people will literally go stand next to you if i'm say taking a picture (with a camera, instead of a phone) of say , a random building. And you'd see ppl try to line-up your shot and take it too. Like.. what the ? lol. Or just mind your business if you're shooting a model on the street.

Teo: I'm writing to you from Argentina. I am a regular observer of travel videos, walking tours, etc. I want to congratulate you for your excellent work of photography and editing of this video that has led me to know those beautiful places that Japan has. The music is inspiring and perfectly accompanies every image, every intention that you have wanted to give to this material. I appreciate this video that I have enjoyed it a lot and I have it saved to watch it at any time. In my country, when we say goodbye to someone for whom we feel great affection or admiration or because we like their work, we end with a "I send you a big hug" and thank you again for sharing your work with us.

I bought an Olympus XA3 which has brought me so just joy while using, and I also bought an Olympus OM-1 SLR which I'll be getting delivered from Japan this week! I also dropped off my first 3 rolls of film earlier today to have developed, and I'm so excited (and a bit nervous as well lol) to see the results! The way you see the world and capture moments in time thru your cameras is breathtaking and beautiful to witness! Thank you again SO much! ❤
