I love Teotihuacan SO much. Late Preclassical Period so much elevates base game and I cannot imagine playing without it. Expansion Period is still to be played. I wish to have deluxe components but I wont back new edition as I have all expansions already. I managed to fit all components of base game and all expansions in one base box 😀

Giant box games are starting to become their own problem. There is only so much shelf space to go around! Teotihuacan is a great game, but I'm not sure it needs as many expansions as it has ;)

Less is more. I have started selling of big boxes in favour of small compact games. Expansion more often than not make the game worse.

Clans of caledonia, pandemic fall of Rome or brass Birmingham have small flat boxes but a very big amount of gameplay. I already have teo + shadow i think i will stay there....but all this stuff looks so good 😊😊

I’m passing on this one unfortunately. I might get Late Preclassic Period and Shadow of Xitle if they become available. It’s too expensive for this version when I already own the base game. I feel like the special abilities are easy to forget because they modify existing board actions. Turns can take a bit long because there is much to consider and the board state changes between turns. It feels a bit solitaire because there is no point of shared interest like the battle at the end of a round in Dune or pulling cubes in Clank. I played it over the weekend along with Golem and Revive. I think I prefer those games. Despite them also being a bit solitaire. I really do like moving around on a board but I think I prefer Marco Polo, Boonlake, and Maracaibo. I ordered Great Western Trail Argentina and Terra Mystica Age of Innovation for less than the cost of this Kickstarter. I’m curious how Great Western Trail compares to this.

Too many great games. I love Teo, but I don't often get it to the table as we're cult of the new people. Late Preclassic has 1 great change in that in some situations with multiple dice when building temple tiles and decorations you can free a locked worker dice. I like variable player powers which is a module in Late Preclassic.

Teo is my favorite game and I've been all in on Teo since the beginning, but I'll pass on this. I don't need another big box and I've seen too may "deluxe" inserts that are terrible. I have other upgraded bits and the Folded Space insert holds everything except the Expansion Period stuff perfectly.
