To Jason, it's not about being better than them, it's about doing the right thing. And the right thing in Jason's mind is putting down fuckers like Joker because they're beyond redemption or imprisonment and it's frankly better for everyone that guys like Big J can't just run around doing what they want without consequence.

@@TheRedMan77 The problem I have with all this is that Jason went through unbelievable amount of torture and being a captive, to the point where he is practically insane, in my opinion. His killing tendencies come from a place of madness, not a feeling of justice and doing the right thing. Killing in cold blood and doing it just because you can is never a good thing in my book. For Batman, it's not about being better than the criminals or villains, it's about doing the right thing and sending the right message to the people. It's why he always talks about how important symbolism is and the way people see him, he actually wants to inspire hope in the civilians and make criminals fear his unrelenting presence and resolve.

I think its probably more accurate to say he's a refined Year One batman. All anger, drive, and focus, with none of the optimism that reflects in later incarnations of the dark knight. The Batman believes that Gotham can be saved. The Red Hood knows Gotham can only be Controlled. (Edit: spelling)

@@simp6303True...but at the same time, and forgive me, i'm more on the marvel side of super heroes, but If I lived in Arkham and The Joker say...kiddnapped my wife and she died. I'd be extremely distraught. They put him in an asylum and he eventually breakes out or escapes or whatever, then it's my child that's next. The process will go on...and on and on...if we continuously take Batman's approach (Because that's how main villians operate, not mad at that) Whereas with This current Red Hood, you mess up bad enough, that's it, no one else will have to suffer for your actions. Mental illness and second chances only last for so long, and if the population would benefit more without a dangerous psycopath that has constantly escaped and has no intentions of change, I'm going with Red Hood's way of handeling it. Then there's the tax dollars that the people of Arkham have to continually put into it, and if a super dangerous criminal keeps simply being locked up, instead of executed, I'd consider being a villian, because no one else seems to want to make that choice.

The problem is this is the way you become a villain and start believing you are a god that decides everybody's fate. This is the mindset that gave us Injustice Superman. Humanity needs the justice system and the ideology behind it to keep us in check. Saying corruption has ruined it and reverting back to the laws of the jungle, where only the strongest survive, only leads to more chaos and destruction in the long term.

Then there is this saying I have been finding lately that goes and I quote: “If the penalty for that crime is a fine, then that law only exists for the lower class.” Then there are people who use the law to pray on other people, like in paternity courts, or almost any court case involving a woman, who on average, would receive less punishment for the exact same crime a man would commit. When the law is broken and flawed, it’s not true justice. Not saying Red Hood is what real justice is, just that the needs of the many outweighs the needs of the few when you have constant psychos escaping and killing people, and if putting down a few of them ensures me and my supposed family can be safer in general, I’m all for Red Hoods approach here.

The militia are mercenaries that are criminals themselves and Jason needed 3 billion dollars from the Gotham villains to assemble the army, he doesn't have money like that by himself, unlike Bruce, who is basically a 1-man army himself mainly due to his access to superior tech with his huge wealth.

After that he eventually gets picked up by the GCPD. In Arkham City there's a challenge map where you have to take on black mask. He is still alive in all 3 parts. Well, at least until Arkham Knight.

I dont really know how to explain It but Batman gives the enemies some sort of failed sense of security before he beats them. Red Hood on the other hand has obviously more blood lust but he also has an aggressive fight style that he got from his mentor and adapted it to his own. @@rawwej That's just one of the many problems I have with Red Hood and most playable characters Zip kick is the most broken arsenal both Red Hood and Robin suffers. Zip kick doesn't give Red Hood and Robin I-frame, which mean when you zick kick an enemy, if you accidentally fly near an electric baton enemy, you still get hit. Secondly, Red hood has no animation for against Brute, so Rocksteady used Shield and Baton for Red Hood. If you play endless map, after a while the whole area will fill with shield and electric baton enemies. Characters with no "disarm and destroy" will definitely has no chance in endless map. Arkham Origins did a better job for playable characters, because they have disarm and destroy takedown
