Iisaw you post this on the tera forums and just wanted to say this is very informative without coming across as I AM BEST PRIEST DO EXACTLY LIKE THIS OR YOU SUUUUUCK. the gearing section was especially useful because i'm only on my priest when my guildies need a healer or i need to grab some seachests for money, so i wasn't sure how to properly gear him with the rolls. outside of obvious more healing output and such. but yeah, good guide. i'll be sure to show this to my friend who wants to get back into healing when they can play again. The newer Staffs actually heal for more than the old ones. Best healing gloves are still Starfall tho since Slaughter and Imperator only have power for +10 to +12

Which Staff? I will have to participate in the right events to get the Starfall. I don't PVP but it seems we have to do the Alliance things to get the currency for them :(

Starfall, Slaughter and Imperator staffs heal for more than Dreadnaught. Also, you cannot get any materials or gear from Alliance's currency. Only useful thing you can get is the Indomitable Zyrks, which you can just buy from Broker too.

Killing Spree Credits allow you to get the Belt, which it seems is not craftable, at least the quest did not give me the recipe for it.

Yes the belt is not craftable. Various dungeons drop it on top of being able to buy it with Killing Spree credits.

Should aim your RB at the tank instead of back of the boss. Especially if you have a lancer who is very very mana hungry. You can aim it right below the boss and so the tank and melee can get those mana. And of course, mana charge should always be on cd.

I just created my first char on Tera; I have large experience on being healer in MMO's, but I would like to understand the mechanics asap, although, at least the basics. Then I noticed that most healers on Tera are Elins; and figured out this is because the smaller hit box. I chose a high elf, because of the mana control (that has proven a waste after your elucidating video) and for appearence. Question is: being an Elin does make a huge difference? Thx for your guide again, I'll be back when reach level 65. :)

Crit builds will be the new meta once the new patch comes since there will not be healing jewelry but instead crit jewelry will have re-rollable healing rolls. I'd still go with all attack speed/cdr on weapon rolls and etchings.

Pvp Rolls for Priest? Now with the Stormcry thing, i have doubts about Necklace, Belt and Circlet and Rings Rolls, i dont know if its better to go with Critical Resist in most of or a combination of Crit Res + Endurance or only endurance. What do u think about? Sorry if my english sucks

I'm not a big PvPer so take these with a grain of salt~ Necklace - I'd say either healing or Endurance Belt - Still Double HP Circlet - Endurance Earring - Still 4% HP and 10% Stun reduction Rings - Either Cri Resist + Healing, 2x Crit Resist, Crit Resist + Endurance, or Endurance + Healing. Not really sure here, just try things out since it's easy now.

+Danielle Seats There are a few absolutely mandatory Glyphs: For PvE: - Hearty Resurrect - Multiplicative Focus Heal - Spirited Mana Charge - Enfeebling Triple Nemesis - Spirited Restorative Burst - Lingering- and Savage Energy Stars For PvP (BGs): - Energetic Purifying Circle - Fleetfooted Blessing of Zenobia - Restorative Heal Thyself - Multiplicative Focus Heal - Energetic Kaia's Shield - Restorative Healing Immersion For PvP (Solo Survival): - Energetic Purifying Circle - Fleetfooted Blessing of Zenobia - Restorative Heal Thyself - All Kaia's Shield Glyphs These are what I've found mandatory. In addition all sorts of cooldown reduction Glyphs for harassment and survival skills are very useful for PvP.

You shouldn't copy anyone's keybinds and find your own which you're comfortable with. Play around with different keybinds and once you find a good one, it will eventually be carved into your spine and muscle memory.

+Derek ”The Potato” Zhao Kaia's Shield is a very powerful skill, so it being off cooldown more often is a definite plus. Then again, if you strictly do PvE, you shouldn't need Kaia's too often for it to still be on cooldown when you need it. Meanwhile Focus Heal is one of your most used skills, so healing more with it is a nice bonus too, but if you're soloing stuff, you won't do anything with Focus Heal so the roll will be useless in those situations.

Generally you should stay away from default key/skill chains and instead have a separate key for each skill.

Today was my hardest run as a priest.. In the dungeon ( I'm level 50 ) everyone died because our tank couldn't take aggro, the damage dealers kept dying and when I thought the tank wouldn't take any damage so I could res them, the tank would fail and die. So I would have to keep everyone alive, and it repeated..

Welcome to the world of playing with bad tanks~ Although if you're still leveling you can expect to pull aggro every now and then, especially if you keep spamming heals and happen to have a higher level weapon than others.
