Tera Awakening and Enchanting Weapons and Armor to +15

Not sure if I mentioned it anywhere, but I finally got my Gunner Tensus weapon to +15. The full 0 to +15 took roughly 450k gold worth of mats. I know a couple of people that spent over 1 million gold worth of mats to go from 0 to +15. Those people +15'd their gear the first month. Mine was "only" 450k-ish because I waited a few months, when Tier 7 alkahest went down to around half the price. I also farmed a lot of MWA boxes during the time and got Extensive Alkahest during the lockbox events.

+ClearTechGamer Hey ctg, how much gold do you think it would take to get a tensus/lucid weap to +15 after brawler patch? I've checked broker and I've seen prices like 280-350k gold, so I'd say crafting/enchanting cost has decreased, but not sure

+Gustavo Alexander I heard it is a lot easier to +15 Tensus gear now, after the Brawler update. One thing about the Brawler update, MWA prices went up due to Tera taking off vanguard credits earned for dailies. So now you have less credits to buy MWA boxes. It is super simple to get T7 feedstock now. So there should be no problems there. I just finished leveling my Brawler to 65 a couple of days ago. I will have enough mats to craft a Tensus weapon for it in about a week (hopefully). Then I will +15 it that day. I will report how easy it was then.

Yea but how do you active these people in the workshop to help you out? I completed the missions around the area and the black smith hostage thing and what not, and after completing all that they still won't talk to me about the awaking of gear or anything. Do you have to complete more missions or something?

Hi Bud, have a few questions, really hope you can answer. 1. When you enchant, I notice you're using three types of Alkahests, are you using the first MWA for the first enchant, Extensive for the +14 and Premium for the +15? would that be the most efficient and best chance to do it? 2. What would be the best way for me to gain the Alkahests (as there are a lot you recommend going there with)? 3. I notice you're doing a T6 Weapon, if I was to attempt on a Tier 8 Weapon is this advisable or are the chances of enchanting it much more difficult to achieve? (also not sure if you can do with a T8 Zerk axe?

+Gavin McCloy Hi Gavin, I honestly did all 3 just for show and to prove you can use all 3. I only put them in order because my A.D.D. kicked in, hehe. Tera states that the higher enchantment success rates you get when using Extensive and Premium Alkahest (from +9 to +12) do not effect Awakened Enchanting (from +13 to +15). So the only benefit you get from using Extensive and Premium Alkahests over MWA is that you need less for each try. My Advice: Do the math, see which alkahest is cheaper to enchant with. For Weapons it takes 100 MWA or 85 Extensive or 60 Premium each time you awaken enchant. Look in the Trade Broker and see the price of 100 MWA compared to 85 Extensive and 60 Premium. Go with whichever one is cheaper. During this patch, the best way to get alkahests is to do the "30 Mobs" repeatable daily. Each time you complete the daily you get Vanguard Credits. You can purchase MWA boxes from the Vanguard vendor using Vanguard credits. I sometimes do the repeatable daily on multiple toons to get even more credits. The second way I earn MWA is to run Ghillieglade "hard mode". Hard mode just means skipping the first two bosses and going directly to the last. The last boss become harder to beat. I can usually complete each run of Ghillieglade hard mode in less than 4 minutes on my Gunner, Brawler and Reaper (I think my personal best is just under 2 minutes on my Gunner). Each run of Ghillieglade drops MWA and a couple hundred gold as well as a few other things. If you are Elite you can run this 4x a day on each toon. The chances of success rate are the same on Tier 6, 7 and 8. It is all RNG aka "Random Number Generator". Tier 8 Dreadnaught weapons and armor cannot be enchanted past +12. The class does not matter. The only gear that can be enchanted from +13 to +15 are Tier 9 Starfall, Tier 7 Tensus & Lucid and Tier 6 Generation & Renegade. - Joey

Thanks for the reply! Yeah I have a 65 zerk only at the moment. I am elite status too. Only the one character. If I was to make another I'm not sure which class... But probably one that is good for farming and levels fast. What would you suggest? Yeah MWA is such a pain for me to get my hands on at the moment. Not sure what is the best weapon to get next for a zerk. Still on the T8 at the moment.

+Gavin McCloy With the new Front Crit crystal named, “Fine Wrathful Niveot”, a Zerk can easily finish Ghillieglade hard mode in under 4 minutes. You might be able to push it down to around 2 minutes with practice. For Weapon, use… Fine Wrathful Niveot Fine Savage Niveot Fine Pounding Niveot Fine Focused Niveot For Jewelry, use… Fine Carving Vyrsk x4 For Chest use… Fine Hardy Niveot x4 When I completed Ghillieglade hard mode in under 2 minutes, I used the following buffs + consumables… - Full Priest buffs (hope you have a Priest friend, if not get at least one) - Crit Scroll VII - Canephora pot The fastest toon to level in Tera by far is the Reaper. The #1 reason is that Reaper starts at level 50. So you really just have to push it through 15 levels. If there was no such thing as a Reaper in Tera I would say the best class for leveling and farming at max levels is the Brawler, followed by the Gunner.

+Gavin McCloy Do the "30 Mobs" daily and run Ghillieglade 4x, do this everyday. Also run Corsair's Stronghold everday until you win one and get a Sea Chest. You sell the Sea Chests for 1.1k to 1.3k and you will get 1.2k gold from 4x Ghillieglade runs if you are Elite (pop your Elite 2x Gold boost before your first run ). So each day you will have about 2.5k gold, about 85-100 MWAs from Vanguard credits and Ghillieglade drops. You use your 2.5k gold you earn each day to buy more MWA (save it and wait until you see a really good deal in the Trade Broker, then buy up the large MWA stack).

ahmed zahran Top tier PvE gear can reach +15. Tier 6 “Generation” gear can be +15’d and Tier 7 “Lucid” PvE gear can be +15’d.

AnyOtherName LikeMashugana It is worth going +15 if you have Tensus gear. I know Tensus got a buff this last T9 patch. I am not a hardcore PvE person but I assume Lucid got the same buff since it is the PvE counterpart to Tensus PvP. So I would +15 Lucid also due to it's buff for this new patch.

+Zeniax Or you can just farm VG like a normal person can get about 150-200 per character per day ... and most people farm 3-5 characters a day ... so roughly 400 a day for about a month ... 12k MWA in a month of dedicated 3-5 characters a day.

***** It’s all Random Number Generator. The first 3 pieces of gear I attempted to +15, it took me between 6-24 tries for each piece to achieve +15. But on the 4th piece of gear (my Gunner Tensus weapon) I have had over 60 tries and still have not hit +15. This past Thursday, Tera released a new patch that affected Awakening. If you fail an enchantment at +13 or +14, the gear no longer goes down to +12. BUT, the success rate has been decreased / failure rate has been increased.

+❀ Aru ❀ Schisma cannot be taken to +15. +12 is the max for Schisma. If you are into PvE, Generation, Lucid and whatever the name of the latest end-game gear is can be taken to +15. Alkahest and Feedstock various per server. Also the price goes up and down throughout the week on each server.

There is a chance that Dreadnaut is slightly better than Generation. Not sure if the EU servers have the same names as the NA servers when naming gear?

@entirelynumb and @Massive Massiver For Masterworkd Alkahests: I farmed Vanguard dailies, every day on multiple characters. By doing this I got a LOT of Vanguard Initiative Credits. I used those credits to buy MWA Boxes. Here is a video on that kzbin.info/www/bejne/qau3ZmmKe7x2hsU After this last patch, I would say spam the Vangaurd Naga Daily, instead of doing the other dailies. You will get a lot of credits faster than the older dailies. For Premium Alkahests and Extensive Alkahests: I opened over 100 Strongboxes during events that dropped these Alkahests. The Elite Subscription boxes sometimes drops these Alkahests too. I also check the Trade Broker almost every day, when I see that EA and PA are selling for low prices I buy as much as I can. _ Joey
