I never worry about crit resist for my own characters, the most dangerous bosses have AOE and unblockable attacks that wipe you if you get hit at all.

i wish this game had more players there is nothing like it out there from mmo rpgs they all lack good combat visuals gameplay how the char rolls on dungeons how he dodges graphics they are not over saturated they dont blow out in your face like black desert blade and soul bless they all suck on combat stuff or graphic

Yeah I agree, but I also understand why population is small. They made unpopular changes several times that slowly reduced population, then a bunch of NA players lost their accounts a year ago. Also, even though the combat system is extremely good, it still get boring after a while when no new content is released, so makes sense that people slowly move on to other games.

Tera's combat system is great. The big issue is the company ruined it with making big changes so often.

@@JustinZero0 nah i dont think that killed it personally its the only game i keep coming back and i play 1 year after its release for me the lack of content killed it and transfers that happens on many games instead of improving servers and have less servers on game for more people packed into them they add more and more on all games and in the end they merge staff like idiots

Not sure if that was a joke, or if you used a big head potion o.O Big head potion is temporary, it will go away when time runs out. There is also an item to restore your head size to normal. I don't remember if you buy it at a merchant or in the fashion coupon store though.

Off topic but, what are some ways I can get costumes? Other than the Tera store and broker, are there any other ways? I want my characters to look cool like yours lol

You can farm fashion coupons. In the fashion coupon store you'll find costume items that look like the gear you get while leveling. The first page in the fashion coupon store also has weapon skins that can be dismantled (the description will tell you which ones). They are expensive and you need several, but if you dismantle them you get other coins that you can use to get a random costume item. These are the good costumes though, basically the stuff from the TERA store.

Hey, I don't really know how to play other classes, so I'll have to learn first. But I was thinking about making another TERA video, so maybe gunner would be nice. Any class you had in mind? About slayer and archer I have to say the following: - I started working on a slayer guide, but couldn't play it well enough to record the footage. There is also a really good slayer guide on KZbin already by Space bar (it's in my class guide playlist), so I decided not to make a slayer guide. - I wanted to make an archer guide together with a friend who does a lot of DPS. However, he's quite busy, and when he has time, he's more into Elyon at the moment, especially since archer release. I myself am even worse at archer than at slayer XD

Sometimes you get a free temporary costume or mount that lasts for 14 or 30 days, and then deletes itself.

the whole phys cp phys pierc is a problem which do u pick for chars and what are the caps but the worst stat is ignore phys those belts mask brooch are hell of expencive btw love all your videos my guy so informative every time wish you the best and happy holidays

To figure out the best ratio, you have to do a lot of testing for each class separately, that's why I recommend looking at a discord server. I'm not willing to spend all my gold on gear for one character, so I just take what I can get for a reasonable price XD Thanks, happy holidays to you as well : )

Get 1.6k ignore on belt mask brooch its "cheap" to roll them with blue scrolls untill u get one 1.6k ignore on them is by far the best stat for certain class 1x 1.6k equals 2.5rolls of piercing/cp

@@veetineee well 1 is fine yes its easy but x2or x3 rolls if you wanna max gear is a pain already have x5 phys cp jewels on 2 chars and that was easier

@@YUKATIGaming the best ratio is dependent not on class. your class ONLY effects which one you build, ie magic damage dealers build magic pierce and ignore, physical classes build physical pierce and ignore. the best combination is the amount that gets the target to -33,333 resist for the type of damage you deal. bosses have different resist values, which are changed by the tank and healer of the party, by a percentage of their stats. This makes concrete numbers only really possible if you only run with the same tank and healer in the same dungeon. magic/physical piecing scales up with the targets magic/physical resist it falls off exponentially after 10,000 which is 50% reduction of resist. After the piercing reduction is applied ignore values from tank, healer and your stats. The damage formulas are publicly available and there are spreadsheets around that u can plug numbers into without actually needing to build gear, so you don't actually need to spend any money to see what different things would work out too.

@Benjamin Penniston Good point about the spreadsheets, you can find those on some class discords. Are the damage formulas really public though? I found a formula a while ago, but it seemed to me like that formula was reverse engineered by a player? (I'm not saying it's not a useful tool, just saying I wouldn't call it publicly available if that's the case) Also, most players don't want to spend the time opening a spreadsheet, and playing around with numbers, they just want to know what to aim for, set it up and forget, and some discord servers provide exactly that, numbers you can follow. The reason why I said it depends on your class is because of the passives. For example on sorcerer, while magic stats are important, you also need to build up max MP, since that gives a significant increase in dps due to the passive buff. Other classes building MP is completely useless. While they also have passives, they are different for each class.
