Synopsis:
Squadron Leader Veer Pratap Singh (Shah Rukh Khan) is a rescue pilot with the Indian Air Force. In the line of duty he comes across a stranded Zaara (Preity Zinta)... a girl from Pakistan who has come to India to fulfill her surrogate mothers dying wish. Veer saves her life and his life is never the same again.
Twenty two years later Saamia Siddiqui (Rani Mukerji), a Pakistani human rights lawyer on her first case, finds herself face to face with an aging Veer Pratap Singh. Heart fail हुआ था कह सकते हैं.. अचानक यूँ चले जाना 53 की उम्र में ही शरीर त्याग दिया.. वे सम्पूर्ण जीवन में कभी हॉस्पिटल में एडमिट नहीं हुए, अंत में भी शरीर गाया था वहाँ.. आत्मा छोड़ चुकी थी.. मुँह खुला था, खांसी के कारण.. कहते हैं मुँह के रास्ते पुण्यात्मा निकलती हैं 🙏🏻🕉️💟☮️🪔🌼🌸🌺🌹आज भी कई बार आँसू आ जाते हैं,.. ऐसे प्यारे थे पापा.. कभी अंतरात्मा नहीं दुखाई उन्होंने, बड़े होने के बाद कभी ना हाथ उठाते थे कितनी भी बड़ी ग़लती करुँ - धैर्य के साथ प्यार से समझाते थे पापा.. ममता बहुत थी उनमें, मोह भी माँ सा, सुरक्षा पिता सी.. ❤️
