Combat sports is turning into WWE because this tiktok generation can't concentrate for more than the length of a youtube short unless theres some type of drama. Old school boxing had normal characters but real rivalries and beefs that made it way more interesting. A good character does make things interesting, but if you don't have a high energy character, you shouldn't need to force it. A good rivalry brings that energy out in everyone

@@slickdon1 no it’s because she’s a gold medalist and gold medalists are ranked higher in the sanctioning bodies when they turn pro automatically that’s why Lomanchenko (2x Olympic gold medalist) got a world title fight in his second fight. Most prestigious world certification prior to turning pro in under 10 fights you fight and beat top 10 in the belt rankings you get a title shot it’s not rocket science. Every other pro has to to work themselves up.

This guy is supremely confident. And why shouldn’t he be? He’s been blessed with one of the most phenomenal skill sets in the history of combat sports. This really is as close to 50/50 fight as I honestly can remember. I’m not sleeping on Errol. Because that guy has earned the right to carry a supreme confidence within himself as well. They both have distinctly different styles. Errol Spence is a textbook great fighter. Terrence Crawford is an improvisationally great fighter. May the best man win!

Terrance and Demetrius Johnson have a lot of similarities. Both well spoken. Both very humble. Both Family oriented. Both some of the most technically devastating fighters their sport has ever seen. Able to swap stances seamlessly. Good chins. And have that dog and love for competition. Cant wait for this fight.

I don't understand why people think Crawford's persnality is "boring", I think he's simply being himself without exaggerated acting. Also, he's very careful when answering because he's previously stated that journalists can twist answers into their favour, which isn't an unreasonable opinion.

What does lower weight fighter even mean. Dudes fighting at welterweight. There are 6 weight classes above welterweight and there are 10 classes below welterweight. Welterweight is one of the heavier weight classes

My bad, lol. I misunderstood which comment I was responding to. I watched a documentary on BJ Penn earlier and thought this was a reference to that comment. So, in terms of boxing, I consider lighter weight anything below cruiserweight. When I think of Crawford and Spence, I think of Sugar Ray Leonard and Marvin Hagler. Fighters from a lower weight class who are absolutely killers in the ring of a sport that, for the most part, throughout history has been dominated by the Heavyweight division.

They try to downplay his résumé, If he was in the UFC he would be seen as one of the greatest ever. we respect the rankings enough to know if a guy is a bum or a legit contender, whereas in boxing, if you’re not on the cover of a magazine, everybody assumes you’re fighting a nobody.

He’s 100% right this fight sells itself they don’t need any drama they’re both such bad ass fighters we just want to see who’s the best that’s enough for me to buy the fight. I’m just stoked that they got to fight me. I really feel Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia showed everybody how much money they can make by making the fights at promotions don’t want to make their saving boxing.

Crawford stoppage rounds 9-12. Spence will start fast and take an early lead with the jab and activity. Crawford will walk him into something late and is one of the best finishers in the game when he has you hurt.
