I agree. Madrimov was a larger, strong, and very skilled fighter. Madrimov somewhat fought within a shell because of Bud's counterpunching accuracy and power. Madrimov still mounted some successful offense from outside, but he did not ever try to move in for the kill because he tasted Bud's power and accuracy and he did not want to take a chance. Bud was more careful perhaps than he needed to be, but Madrimov was big, strong, and dangerous. So Bud fought to win with skill and waited for Madrimov to open up. But if Madrimov had gotten reckless and too aggressive he ran the risk of getting knocked out. Bud did not lose because he failed to knock his opponent out, and his power was there if not as obvious. Bud could also choose to fight Canelo for the win with similar tactics.

I hate when people always cry bias. It happens in every sport. But Tim 100% seemed bias here with Crawford (which is fine because he didn't call the fight). It was a very competitive fight. Madrimov pushed Crawford like very few have and only a handful of guys are capable of. Bud did win, but he wasn't in full control like Tim said. Both guys had their moments and I think it's fair to have it even after 10. Bud just has that DOG in him and his championship spirit showed. He dominated the championship rounds

@hipandcool3285 It's about punches landed, not thrown. Both guys were feeling each other out. Bud was throwing almost double the punches Madrimov was throwing (tho both throwing under 50 a round) but they landed equally through the first 5 rounds. Madrimov was having to work harder with his feints to land on Bud, no doubt. But that's smart. Crawford is an expert at standing just outside your range and waiting for you to try and close the distance and countering. Madrimov wasn't rushing it. It was a great thinking man's fight between punches thrown. I scored it 7-5 but it could've very easily been 8-4 Crawford. But that's a close fight. After 10 rounds it was 5-5. Bud closed the show like a champion. Idk what's up with these people trying to act like it was a blowout. Like Bud didn't clearly step on the gas in the 11th and no doubt the 12th round. He and his corner clearly knew the fight was in the balance. And he responded like the greats do.

Madrimov won 4 rounds at the most. Judges didn’t have it close neither did non-casuals. He outboxed the guy, madrimov was scared to let his hands go & almost got stopped the 10th round, but held on. Israel has ine of the most difficult style in boxing, the same style Uzyk is using to beat everyone he faces, Israel is always fainting and moving his head and body, he is a very difficult opponent to beat, because you can't land on him easily. Crawford is the real deal, a great champion, he figured it out how to move fighters like Israel and all heavyweight should copy Crawford style to fight Uzyk, though Isreal does not throw combinations like Uzyk, if a fighter can figure that out, then Uzyk can be beaten also. Canelo can be beaten by Crawford, style makes fight, I think Canelo style will suit Crawford, Canelo does not faint or move is head and body in constant motion like Israel, Canelo does not throw combinations on every punch. Though Canelo is bigger and obviously stronger but I don't see him winning Crawford.
