Terence Lewis speaks about his first mega international collaboration ‘The Accountants’, 15 years of Dance India Dance and his illustrious career as a Bollywood choreographer.
Keith Khan’s The Accountants a brand new stage production combining dance choreographed by global dance icons Terence Lewis and Xie Xin. The cultural superpowers of China and India go head-to-head in a high-tech, multimedia stage production about navigating cultural expectations and finding one’s own path in life. The production will premiere at Aviva Studios, Manchester and will run from 4th May - 11th May 2024.
Dr. Terence Lewis, Founder and Artistic Director of TL Inc, leads India's premier Contemporary Dance Company (TLCDC) and Dance Institute (TLPTI). Renowned choreographer and celebrity judge, he holds three Guinness World Records and received numerous national and international awards, including an Honorary Doctorate in Dance. Alongside him, Mahrukh Dumasia, his partner and TL Inc's Creative Head, has shaped the Company and Institute for 25 years. As Chief Choreographer and Program Director, Mahrukh's mentorship has elevated contemporary dance in India, producing two generations of skilled professionals and acclaimed productions on global stages. His Bollywood credits include Lagaan and Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela.
