Dont do this anymore. 500m radius from oil rig should be exclusive zone. There is a solid safety reason behind this.

I wish our anglers practicing C&R.It's just a 15kg fish dude, let it live and grown to 40-50kg monster.Just take the mack & others fishes that taste good,I don't think GT is good in taste compare to mack. Our mindset is "I have to fill my ice box till full,so that my friends or my family can say" Wow,so many fishes you caught! "So hebat! When I watched anglers from USA or other Western countries, I envy their professionalism. They only take what they need, not the other way around like our Asian anglers! Gotta catch them all!

sistem kebut I watched & subscribe a lot USA KZbinrs, such as 1Rod1ReelFishing,BlacktipH,Andy'sFishing,LakeForkGuy,ExtremePhilly,all,I mean all of them practising C&R.Giant Goliath is a protected fish in USA,can reach 600lb,all are released.Even coral trout, a very delicious fish, they only take 1 or 2 onlu to eat.Yes,maybe some critics said,Of course they released it,because its on videos, but trust me,we know, they really practising C&R.

The problem is, our rule is diffrent from theirs. As long the boat and the tekong got their pass ok already for us. And the jabatan don't care also. But the white people are the other far side from us.

I would like to express my thoughts and views in regards to my "Trengganu Oil Rig Popping Trip" posts .. In the recent days, some have voiced out unhappiness in us the way we handle our catches of these GTs , graffing them up without doing any Catch and Release .. I understand it's a practice to release these big catches .. Promoting the sport and spirit .. I like to explain that this chartered trip and their local practices is their culture .. We can't do any catch and releases as it's prohibited by the Capt .. They have their REASONS and we came to their boat , we have to follow .. Yes , it's mentioned we are the paying parties , we have the right to advice on what we want .. The only thing I can say is ... if it's not acceptable to your ownself the way the fishes are handled , just don't go to this trip.. The catches we have , we take as consumption, sharing with friends and families .. We didn't waste any of them .. I been fishing for many years , and I do practice and encourage Catch and Release to the catches that are not consumable or deem fit to survive among my group people .. Maybe if you have the chance to been onboard to this trip , you probably can understand their local culture practices .. Hope to seek your kind understanding in this .. Thanks .

Steven Ming Studio, can you explain why you had to take everything including GT? Surely, it is not fishing for a living. For recreational fishing, catch & release should b more in your practice. Do not b too greedy. Take some responsibility for the environment where you catch your fish from. One should b ashamed instead of proud showing the world you are taking everything.

While I was watching this video, the moving background (water & oil rig) caught my attention. I wonder why the boat of these anglers wasn't moving at all, where in fact, they were in the deepest part of moving ocean water. Hmmmm..?#*☆¿
