I just love how Teresa and James understand each other on such a deeper level. This unspoken bond where you know they'd never betray each other. Guero just left Teresa to fend for herself. And during a horrible time, James has always been there for her in his own way.

I love how they're almost on the verge of something but not quite and I kind of want that tension to be sustained. I don't want them to kiss or get together yet. James has already given up his life 2x to "save" her and that's kind of out of character for him....Also, I'm really curious as to just why James is so loyal and committed to Camilla. There's a whole backstory there that we haven't got yet.

James has been her friend when he saw what she like,& he respected & was impressed with her.There is nothing that James doesn't know,including her boy friend being back.He does protect but its a friend thing. Unless I'm wrong,I just get sick when I think of camila being jealous of Teresa & James is loyal to Camila,that he kills Teresa in the end. I don't want to go there but he sniped bird mans house really well.Then again they really never turned on each other,& Teresa keeps her mouth shut,what I am not sure of is when he tells Camila in he car that he would bet his life on her, so who knows he is mysterious,but he does treat Teresa well,they have lied for each other & he doesn't seem to be worried that she might tell Camila.Lets keep the thought of the 2 of them stay close,even when she becomes the Queen.

love the video & the chemistry between Teresa & James! I haven't been able to watch as closely as I would like. I watch most of season 1 and isn't James supposed to be married? I thought he said that in season 1. if so what happened with that? I also saw the last 2 episodes of season 2 so far I'm confused why is Teresa's boyfriend back when he should be in hiding? Teresa and James never kissed? Theyre so good together! The big Mexican guy pote,wasnt the one who raped Teresa,it was the guy with him.The last epi 13 Teresa kills him. Pote then goes with Teresa she needed his car & went to look for Brenda.Pota then became Teresas friend.He then starts working for her when she becomes The Queen.Well Teresa has killed 3 men so far,Pote is teaching Teresa about Camila.He did work for Camila & her husband at one time.James is loyal to Teresa & really cares about her,we will see in the next epi,if she kills her boyfriend or does James.Camila sent er to hunt down the fbi informant & that is teresas boyfriend.James is going to stay loyal to Camila,he will keep Teresa as a close friend,maybe perhaps teaching her more so she can climb to be Queen.There are only 8 epi this sea I read it,so that's a bummer.

Remember when Camila said to James I want her to trust you your good at that .He said to his girl friend when he was in the trailor & was leaving a message for her, said I love you very much,please call me back.James & Teresa are closer ,but I have a feeling that they wont end up together.They do look great together,& work great together,the trust I think goes both ways now. He is also too caring to dump his girl,unless she leaves him.I have a feeling that Teresa kills Guero.She chose to stay with Camilla,The next epi she sends Teresa to go hunt an FBI informant ,she stays loyal to Camila. What I'm trying to get is why does james keep sayin that their in this together.Does any one see the girl when they get off the helicopter,I believe it may be Teresa daughter.Guero being the father.We will just have to wait & see, but if she becomes Queen will James be the one who shoots her in the end,for his loyalty to Camila.What does anyone think about what I'm saying. mic

I also think that James has respect for Teresa & he realizes that she is smart. He has seen a lot of girls in his live----------------but not one like Teresa. He is impressed & believes she tells the truth. He is with her more then anyone,& actually she has taught him a lot,he sees that so he starts to really trust her & I believe that part,but he also made her do things she didn't want to do.James is a man that doesn't let what others think of him or know too much about him,that encludes Teresa too.I think she knows to be careful being that he is Camilas top dog.Every one loves them together including me,The next epi,she sends Teresa to go look for the informant,makes me think does James already know who it is?Well she has to climb up tp be Queen soon because there are only 8 epi in this sea.I Love James but I still get nervous .thinking he is so loyal to Camila,he will stay with her when Teresa leaves.

Started to binge watching QOTS this last weekend and totally hooked on these two since the very beginning. Not sure what the writers will do with James and Teresa relationship but the chemistry between them is really good and they easily can go to a romantic relationship (at least I hope so). I think that in this season we will see James, ruthless and conflicted mainly because of his loyalty to camila and Teresa. But later on and if James and Teresa relationship goes deeper I can totally see Teresa being his main concern. That being said, I can´t help thinking that (sadly) James will end up dead in the future. I hope to be wrong. But in the few scenes that we see of Teresa "in the future" no James in the picture. Let´s see.

You know what the best part of this vid is? It's NOT "Gangsta" playing in the background!!! While I doubt you were one of those lucky people who actually read the novel first (we had to read things longer than comments for entertainment before youtube), the character and relationship James is meant to represent, which IS captured by the show/actors/your vid, was definitely the blood that pumped through her heart, as he brought her back to life in bed and taught her narco transport (not distro), until they fused thoroughly into one out in the night riding shipments together. Now, as much as I lust Jon-Michael Eckerd and his performance, I'm not crazy about what they did to THAT story and the triangle BS. The book and show start at the same point, but Guero was actually dead, showing up frequently but in flashback, the noble ghost who haunted but also guided her, with details a little murky but more undercover than "rat," the role played by Teo and the lover actually killed by Teresa. (Obviously THAT story is different, too!) Thanks to a "taste" for romance of the more eternal variety, I already loved the song, but it is perfect for this, too! Teresa is Queen of the South, but she is not Gangsta!

In the end this is about a drug cartel. he has always been loyal to Camilla. Teresa is a rebel, she kind of walks the line with her loyalty. James will probably die saving her. Just a theory based on what I have seen so far.
