If this had happened to her in season one I might have been inclined to believe she had no knowledge of their IRS obligations or finances because she was a complete air head. Up until this point she really was just your old school stay at home, raise your babies, traditional Italian housewife, where the women takes cares of the home and the man goes to work and juggles the finances but thanks to the show, endless opportunities to make her own money were presented to her, all of which she took full advantage of, and good luck to her. Over time all of this resulted in a ditsy Teresa becoming a savvy business woman. Regardless of all the minions she had carrying out tasks for her like accountants, financial advisors, people she named as responsible for filing her taxes she would of picked up things about taxes and handling money along the way. On the other hand I can also totally imagine her husband Joe going to her and saying "just sign your name here for me" and her doing so without giving it a second thought or reading even the first line but with that said she knows the value of a dime, she must of realized there was more going out than there was coming in, no matter how switched on or off you are that would of raised the question where's all this money coming from? How can we afford the wonderful estate, beach house, boat, numerous high value vehicles, countless five star holidays, more toys and clothes than my children can possibly use, closets of designer clothes, numerous designer handbags, the best money can by in cosmetics and toiletries, several budget less shopping trips a month, brunch with the ladies sipping on Cristal champagne multiple times a week, a chauffeur, a hairdresser, a stylist, a personal shopper, a masseuse, a manicurist, a personal trainer, a dietician, the very best medical care, a safe bursting with gold and diamonds. At some point you'd ask your husband can we afford all this! And if he said yes you'd say HOW!!!!!!!!!

I think Teresa has shown most of everyone her own true colors on the show and what I felt like she always had struggled with most of her battles with her friends that she had been great friends with that left her and most of her family that she was close to

I felt for her in some way of when she was at her worst when I heard she was going to jail In season 6 I almost died when she was sentenced for a 15 months of prison time. But most of the seasons that I saw was when she was just a freakin psycho path and always kept on fighting with mostly everyone else on the show I thought she was different then normal back then before everything went crazy for her
