The major reason they lost is because Allen, Dana , deshield and even kamilla had a bad game offensively; that's why Harrison was brought in to spark the offense which she did because she was more productive offensively in the same minutes as kamilla on the court. If only Allen, Dana and deshield scored a combined 10points in that game they would have won. They all couldn't score a combined 10points, that's outrageous and why they lost.

@charisdiscuss7889 Allen doesn't need to score because she's great at facilitating. The problem was benching Kamilla who had 6pts on 50% shooting, 8rebs, and 4 blocks. She finished the game with a better FG% than Izzy fyi. Then letting Mabrey and Chennedy green light when they were clearly off in that offense. Kam, Angel, and Izzy should have been in together

@@thattalenttho Allen needs to score too when needed, scoring only 2 points even as a facilitator is bad. What about Dana and deshield 0 points in 28 combined minutes on the court ? Kamilla was hot in the first quarter but she went cold offensively afterwards and Harrison came and scored 6points in just 5minutes Blame Allen, deshield and Dana for the loss not the coach when who went with a hot hand on the bench which is the normal thing all coaches does. Kamilla went cold offensively after she started hot offensively.

@@thattalenttho the coach keeping mabrey in despite her struggling is because they don't have an out and out 3 point shooter on the bench and maybe Dana and deshield would have replaced her but they too were awful and this was another reason the Coach went to Harrison to help the offense because only angel and Cardozo played great in that game, all others like mabrey, kamilla went cold offensively and the bench and the team point guard couldn't score a combined 10point in the whole game except Harrison who played good too from the bench. If the bench players and Allen scored up to just 10point, just 10, then they would have won with or without Cardozo. I want Cardozo to play too but she's been inconsistent so far this season; that's just the fact.

For those saying it was a PR response. Coach Spoon has ALWAYS spoke highly of Kamilla. Even when reporters try to ask only Angel questions she mentions Kamilla. At the time Izzy was more productive on scoring than Kamilla was so she made a choice was a bad one at the grand scheme but it happens. She’s also benched Angel longer than she should like during the Aces game.

im thinking the same thing. it was a decision. it couldve went either way. issy production wasnt that much different so its not like issy was terrible. the main factor that didnt pan out was the defensive impact kc had. coach underestimated that part. hopefully she learns from that

I repeat once again, the coach is not the problem, the players love and respect their coach. The Bigs are doing just great and need guidance to become even greater, Angel and Kamila shall dominate for years to come with Chennedy. The issue is not having great guard players to know how to feed the Beast in paint at right times and also being able to be consistent in hitting their shots from outside to force teams to guard them, which will open the paint even more for the Bigs. Also, as good as Kamila played in moments, sometimes she is still looking lost out there. Remember her injury, her timing is not there yet, but she has flashes of being dominate as well. People still talking about her being taken out, indeed she was doing good in 1st half, but as a coach, they have to protect their players, even from themselves sometimes, also, have people notice how she sometimes gets tired and don't run back on defense, teams take advantage of that as well.

Staley took care of the hard part of Kamilla's coaching. She believes in herself now. And she has a fam supporting her and a buddy in Raven Johnson pushing her. she jut needs to keep working on her moves and a her xs and os, and being a self starter. Because shes the kind of player that lade da's early in games and the coach needs to get on to play her best ball. Once she can grow from that, skys the limit.

I agree. Raven Johnson is Kamilla's best friend and confidant. Hopefully she can re-ignite that fire inside of her but Coach T Spoon needs to do a better job with her x's and o's and I don't know why in hell they're not looking for a better point guard. Daisha Fair is great scoring guard even though she's undersized.

Angels assist numbers fixing to go up. Post to post passing. Camilla has a decent midrange if you hit her shooting pocket so the shot can go up quickly. Defense is starting to respect her at distance.

The best path for improvement is teammates. Notice that Caitlin Clark's triple double is really completely done by Aaliyah Boston. Clark didn't box out one time. She's stayed in Aaliyah Boston hip pocket to get good shots. To draw the defense and get assists to other people. Collect rebounds while Aaliyah Boston does the box out. Notice Carter doesn't shoot until Angel is down there. Kelce Plumb doesn't shoot until aja Wilson is in the set. Angel has the midrange now. She's not going to shoot without her girl in the post. And she's going to default to the assist to Camilla.

@elijahwest1520 She has like 22 attempts, so of course she'd score more. Her problem is consistency. She's shooting 37% FG. Kamilla is 44% and she only attempts about 8. Mabrey is a liability in clutch moments or when momentum is on the Sky side

Yeah - Spoon was feeling the blowback over benching Kamilla and giving that lame response on why she was benched for so long. Seattle's coach knew what she was doing by stirring the pot saying Kamilla out helped them win.
