What a beautiful little Sampler, fell in love with them. Couldn't resisted Cross-Stitching Samplers, when my sister got me going on them two years again. Happy to hear you want to start Cross-Stitching Samplers. Enjoy, they're fun,, Carolann saying Hello from Minnesota ❤😮😊

Very nice sampler and I love the story about it. The fabric it’s stitched on looks a lot like waste canvas used to stitch on fabric or clothing.

The sampler is so pretty! But even more special is the friendship you now have with Jeffrie. Plus the fact that we can now stitch it and future Teresa Kogut antique samplers. Yippee!

How fabulous! I've loved samplers for years. I was recently blessed with a family sampler from 1806 that belonged to my husband's family. What a beautiful sampler and how special for you to be asked to reproduce it. Hope to see more samplers reproduced. Great video.

Thank you for sharing a little history about why the alphabet is on the sampler. I may have to get into stitching some of the antique samplers! I love history of things and stories that go with it❤

It looks like the Sampler was stitched on waste canvas, because of the blue lines running through it. I use to stitch with this when I was putting on a design on wearables and I could pull the threads out after stitching.

The original looks like it was stitched on a needlepoint canvas called penelope canvas.

Teresa, the long sleeve tshirt you are wearing, will you be selling that soon? How cool that you got to reproduce a sampler for someone. I want to try charting a sampler for reproduction, but don't have the money to buy one. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
