What motor is in the Auto? Sounds like the older HC-EJ motor. Auto wins by far for offroading!

No open diffs with a central gearbox lock. We very rarely use it but.

235/75/15s on jeep Cherokee rims. The biggest I would go for upgrade is 215/70/15 . You shouldn't have to modify guards and inner guard to run the bigger tyres .

I feel that the automatic terios has more grip and torque in 4x4, I have one but in Venezuela no 4x4 automatics arrived

These little beauty's have open diffs? Upgraded? What suspension you running. They look and perform fantastic.

They have open diffs . They come with a gearbox lock that's it. No low range , Basically they are stock standard with front and rear bars and bigger tyres . Mine has heavier duty shockies in rear .

Is it true that when you engage the differential lock, the car only drives the rear wheels?

With our model 2003 terios , it's AWD 70%power to front wheels and 30% power to rear wheels , hit the gearbox lock and it changes to a 50% front and rear. 4x4 not 2x4

We actually made them. Importing them from Malaysia was to expensive so we built our own.
