Oh man bro that first descent into the chute took some seriously huge balls. God just standing at the top took nads, but that chute once you got down into it was soo fine; get hauling through that stiff Alaskan powder that doesn't break god want to be there now!! Nice job dude!

The Sprocking Cat strikes againg.... He has always been my favorite rider.. Truly still the best.. Terje is Shawns mentor. Shawn is a hella of a good rider. Terje dropped out of the scene days ago because snowboarding was becoming a "SPORT". He always just rode to ride and be with friends....Thats what riding is about.

this descent is the illest. terje is still the dopest big mtn rider. man this is just one of the best snowboard movies yet. the premise is cool and not just parts cut up with tunes. in the theatre it was like an imax snowboard flik. farm and peratta are still ripping. peratta shud be dead with his head bash off rocks back in the day. plus it has two of the best riders and my favs t-rice and terje then add white and teter.. a must see and own if you shred.

Truly amazing, and what is so crazy, is that's 100% real. Terje Haakonsen is a well known snowboarder, to most people. But he is a private person, so that is way some people doesn't know about him.

I think the reason it looks like a straight down chute is because the video 16:9 ratio and we're seeing in regular full mode -- it's compressed (and distorted). They even say in the video that it's like 60 degrees. To Terje's everloving credit, that's still unbelieveable!!!

Wow What an achievement. It's a privilege to even see that on video. I think (maybe it wasn't you??) I might have met you all in Cervinia. August 2005. I didn't realise at the time what awesome (in the real sense) mountain men I was talking to. This guy is just amazing. True courage. Very dangerous though.
