For all worrying about if you don't make it through the loop, They have holes or some escape port where you would end up at. My first time on this type of slide i didn't make it all the way around so i waited until i stopped sliding back and forth and right where i stopped they had holes to climb out of, and i climbed out, and continued with my day. Operators of loop slides know that people occasionally don't make it all the way around the loop so they make sure they have a way to get out at the parts you would stop at and also the workers should have good communication.

i find this kinda dangerous and stupid what if you slow down or you start the ride wrong and you cant get through the loop, than you'll be stuck in the slide, and in my case i would feel very claustrophobic, and also all the people are gonna be crashing into you.

It's not dangerous at all ;) If you don't make it around the loop, you'll slide back and be rescued by the lifeguard through an escape hatch. Before you leave the slide, the system is blocked and nobody else can slide.

Was just thinking that. Action Park in Jersey had something like that in the early 80s. I dont think that ride was ever open to the public though, was it? I thought they scrapped it after a few employees almost died testing to see if it would work? (That place was LOADED with death traps, lol. 2 words: ALPINE SLIDE! Lol!)

Jim Nicholson it was open to the public. The owner paid people who worked there was given a 100 dollars if they tested the slide. Some therieos said that testing dummy’s came out headless. They make it like that to maintain Speed and G Forces. If it’s vertical, it would take alot of speed and you will pass out due to your acceleration
