Both T1 and T2 of MCIA are truly world-class because there are lots of facilities which are similarly found in many other international airport terminals in the world such as automated water fountains/dispensers, vending machines, airport hotel, prayer rooms (for different religions), lactating mother's rooms, automated gates, automated tray retrieval system, etc. Moreover, they have airport ambassadress/ambassadors (similar to Hong Kong Airport, Glasgow Airport, Dulles Airport, etc.) who are always ready to extend help or assistance to passengers in need. They sport a very unique uniform with Cebuano-inspired motif, both male and female.

Kailangan kumita ng husto ang private terminal operator na GMR-Megawide para ma bawi nila ang gastos sa paggawa ng Terminal 2 & Renovation sa Terminal 1.
