I can't find any info about the 30e/30l terminals, but "30" means that it's supplying power directly from battery. Those can be some kind of emergency shut off relays build in into the battery connectors or IBS. But that's just my guess.

yep it's very difficult to find infos about them, i think because they are the new designations (protocol boardnet 2020 in the BMW's F series) of the terminals we know now, for example: the 30g will be 30B (B for Basic), 30g_f will be 30F (F for Fault), 30 will be 30U and there's two newcomers wich is 30E wich designate permanent positif with now fuse protection and 15N (N for Nachlauft) wich designate a relay (terminal) who energize systems needed only when the vehicle is driven for example PDC....voila, I hope it's exact and it will serve.

You seem very knowledgable on car electronics. I'm trying to find out why my 2013 mini r56's usb and aux port does not have any power. It used to work and one day it stopped working. The cigarette lighter works no problem but the separate usb and aux ports don't work. Thinking it's a fuse or not sure what issue but maybe you have an idea? lol Appreciate this video and new knowledge

Great video.. all my cigeratte lighters are dead on my Bmw e65. All fuses and relays ok, the blue 15 wake up line is dead from the CAS module to the power module. Is this a faulty CAS or is there a relay somewhere for this wake up line ? Thanks

I bet you never found out. 30B is a logical terminal. It's not a physical thing. Exists in software only. Which means it's going to be an internal module fault. Now to find out which one. Likely FRM.

Can i Please pay you to help me figure out what is wrong with our car? I'm getting error codes: 93076A and 93076B, Deactivation of terminal 15 and 30B: upper startability limit reached, but deactivation preventer active. This is on my 2011 Bmw X3. It's the only car our family has and it hasn't worked for 4 weeks. I replaced the starter, installed ISTA+ and bought and coded a new battery, and it still won't turn on. It cranks, but the fuel pump won't prime when I unlock the car. I think the car won't wake up because something is preventing the power to flow.

Should my dash lights and radio stay on after I remove the keys on my 2003 bmw z4? I find that all the lights on my dash and window (amber lights) can be switched on when I remove my keys. If I am in the vehicle and hit the key fob to lock my car (as if locking car to walk.away), I can still turn on the dash cluster without the key in ignition. My neighbor says i have a "short" but i have no idea what that means. Any and all tips would be greatly appreciated.

I am having an issue understanding this. My car is having an issue where sometimes it doesn’t want to start, the starter almost acts up and sometimes I have to tap the starter and have someone turn the car on, it seems I’m having a voltage drop somewhere. I plug my scanner in and it says , aob2 CAS Supply Terminal 30E/30L, I don’t see them anywhere on the fuse box or diagram

Are you sure it's not the starter itself? Maybe motor brushes are used up?

Co oznacza kod A559? To może związane z terminalem którymś czy jakimś bezpiecznikiem? Wyjaśnienie wg wyszukiwarki błędów dtc to że "zasilanie zostało wyłączone (zacisk 30g_f)" lub po angielsku: "Dashboard: Supply was switched off (terminal 30g_f)" Czy ten błąd ma związek z pojawieniem się czerwonej kierownicy z kłódką? Zdarzyło się mi coś takiego 3 razy i mimo włożenia kluczyka kierownica nie chciała się odblokować i auta odpalić nie mogłem. Odpaliłem dopiero jak kluczyk wyjąłem i wsadziłem z 20 razy (w każdym razie dużo razy). Ale czy to jest to to nie wiem....

DO YOU KNOW WHERE THE TERMINAL 30G-F IS ON E90, 2006 E325i, I also have A731 code and 2DED code. My radio stoped working as well. The car starts and runs well, but these codes persists and there is a slow drain on the battery, therefore is A731 code. But where is the FN terminal 30G-F?
