Realistically, hiding is your only option. Alerting one would result in all available units nearby converging to your location. Destroying one would alert the terminators to your presence when they no longer receive the "all clear" signal they would most likely have. Either way, unless it's a full-on battle, you should not engage.

Love this game. The best way to play it is in the hardest difficulty with the hud and maps not activated. It feels so much more realistic and the first 3/4 of the game terminators are scary and you need to avoid them. It would be sick if somone did a Terminator 1 movie game. You start off spawning in as the T800, and fighting the 3 dudes just like the movie. Then you play as Kyle Reese, and have to run from the cops in the clothing store, sneaking around grabbing every piece of clothing. The game will have the Tech Noir fight, and the chase after. We play as the T800 and kill everyone in the police station, then right after play as Kyle and Sarah to sneak outta the police station without getting spotted by the T800. It will have alot of arcade elements, meaning some missions are pure sneaking around an area, or some shooting or driving. But would be really cool is diffrent modes for the game, you have the full on story mode which takes after the movie. But it would be cool if it had a T800 mode, and we have to search all throughout LA to find our targets, some harder then others. Then another mode would be cool if we are being hunted by a T800 and we have to cover our tracks and try to throw him off and trap him, cause we can't beat him, kinda like a game of survive. Then it would be cool to have a mode where we play as the T800 and have to guard Sarah or John, from humans or Androids. Since I was a kid and first saw the Terminator, I always wanted a movie game.

As a basic Double-A game it was so easy for Resistance to be forgotten, so I'm damn happy it's getting another go as an enhanced re-release. Wish they would have done it for the Series X as well, but this PC/PS5 edition will still bring a lot of attention to it, and that's a plus. Gameplay is pretty simple and the Voice Acting isn't stellar by any means, but the way it ties into Terminator 1 and 2 is perfect. Honestly it's the best continuation of the T-Universe next to The Sarah Connor Chronicles and I'm hoping this Enhanced edition leads to another game.

It's simple but it's done good. What carries it further is care and love put into it. Soundtrack, theme, atmosphere and etc. Today we get countless AAA games and many honestly can't compare to Resistance in many ways. I am not a super fan of Terminator universe. Probably any other game with this kind of quality would be deleted in 30min. Then I played it and there were places were it felt repetitive but then there were some things that pulled me back in. It didn't feel like "Hey let's make a shitty Terminator game to get some quick cash" it actually felt like a love letter to fans. It will not blow someones mind but it deserves a chance.

I enjoyed watching this play through. The game isn't perfect but nothing can be. Considering that this game came out the same year that the Terminator Woke Farce film did it at the very least gave Terminator fans a better story than the film that was two giant middle fingers to the history of the franchise. We had Salvation - although it was set after Rise of the Machines - set in the post apocalyptic future, although it had many flaws and failed to start a trilogy, just like the diabolical Genysis and Dark Fate films that followed, but I would love to see a film in the post apocalyptic world that followed the plot of this game, specifically the lead up to Skynet's final defeat and the sending back of Kyle Reese and the T800 to protect Sarah and John Connor respectively.

I had a Dream, I was inside the house I'm living in now and trying to hide on a single floor, and the neighborhood was deserted and Machines from not of this planet were floating by that seemed to be patrolling looking for humans and it could see through the house with some kind of heat or image sensor. Not sure how I knew but I knew, there was NO hiding or escape, I wasn't detected then I woke up. It reminded me not to forget the technology is real and out there

It got slated but I really enjoyed playing it ..it's nothing new but just a good old fashioned shooter .. the disipointing thing is the lack of terminators and the kids vocals lol
