As his name suggests, the Terminator has only 1 mission objective: to terminate any opponent that gets in his way. In Mortal Kombat, there are many characters that won't agree with the Terminator's mission, which leaves the latter with no choice but to finish them.

Yeah that always irked me about the movies, and in turn a lot of those intro quotes. Like he's a machine made to resemble a life form, pretty definition android The skin n stuff is organic but its still over full robo

Also, there technically aren't "female androids". Android is greek loanword (or two in this case) meaning "Likeness of man." But since this was in earliest used as soon as 1728, it kinda stuck. Gynoid would be "Likeness of woman" but that's rarely if ever used. I think the closest modern example is japanese Actroids (they were mean to be "Perfect secreteries" after all) that are specifically almost always women, though male models do exist. And before someone asks why not call them anthropoids, (likeness of human) scifi usually reserves that to aliens. It's actually been used to refer one of the architechts of Holocaust, Reynhard Heidrich, whose crimes were so disgusting he barely classified as a human being.

I'm not sure it was meant to be "political" at all, one can self-identify with things other than gender. Take otherkins for example, they identify as non-human in some form or another, often for spiritual reasons.
