I put 37” on my 17 f150 while back and have been running stock 3.31 gear, and recently re-gear front and rear axles to 4.88. Wow! Truck moves so much better. Worth very dollar💰Also replace the open carrier with limited slip perfect 👌 setup

Should have had an explanation on what the numbers mean that he is saying and how they match up to the pinion and ring gear? I just seen a bunch of pieces of metal saying they each do som different? Not what how the numbers match up to the sizes and how they affect speeds amd what not?

He literally explained it all. Basic understanding of a differential is not what he’s explaining. Essentially what he’s talking about is gear reduction so you don’t bog your engine trying to turn huge 40s etc
