Holy cow,this os one of the most beautiful looking stitches/patterns that ive seen! I never would've believed could be done on a loom,had u not shown us..

Thank you ,love the pattern. I ordered the loom. I am sure I will use it a lot. My husband passed away 2003. I am a knitter, and when I lost him I sit for 3 days and just knitted. I got out my yarn ,knit and threw it away. I don’t know how much it was, it just helped me get thru the pain. I just knit no pattern no nothing. After that I found DA looms. Ioved the loom. Then they went out of business. I was left with just basic. Went into a lot of crafts. Now I found you. Love peg loom. You. And peg looming thanks for being there. Lee

Love this stitch! I’ve made a couple of swatches, and discovered how easily I can get distracted. To keep myself straight, I count each stitch in the set, 1, 2, 3... 6 and then I can move on. I’m still a novice, I’m hoping to improve on that. Thanks for the wonderful stitches!

Just finished a lacy poncho with this stitch and it came out beautifully! Can't wait to wear my work. Thanks for a great stitch.

I love how so many of your stitches work in pairs and don't involve purls! It works up so quickly and it's easy to keep up with where you left off if you have to pause. It's a beginner's dream!

Oh neat,you made a poncho? That's exactly what I hope to do w/a pretty,& thick looking stitch pattern like this. Glad to hear it will work out nicely if I can figure out how to alter this to my size correctly & all. Thanks!

I hear you say it on all your videos I've watched... Just an FYI for all your other watchers, being I watch your videos from my Android smart I just want you to know that the gear for slowing down is not actually a gear, it's 3 dots up in the upper right corner and there is an option to change the speed of the video there... Just so if anyone else keeps looking for the gear and can't find it watching from your phone... Check and see if you have the 3 dots...

Thank you. Thought I lost my mind because I couldn't find the gear.

I probably picked the wrong kind of yarn to make this with (had some difficult textures to work with), and I was definitely knitting too tight - but for my first ever loom project, I'm rather chuffed.

So, a friend of mine sent me to this video, because I expressed interest in the stuff she was making. I've never used one of these before, but I'll let you know how it goes.

This pattern is captivating. I would like to start a scarf, do they have to be odd numbers? It looks like this one example is nine stitches and another example is 11 stitches. Is that correct? The tutorial is only 5 and that doesn't seem to be thick enough.
@DeborahShaw4 жыл бұрын
It only has to be in two peg pairs so the pegs used have to be even. It doesn matter if the wraps or what I think you mean stiches is even or odd. I used 18 pegs in the scarf but would use 22 next time because it knits up small. The shawl peg count I dont remember but it was around 34 pegs. The tutorial is to show how to make it and is not a scarf size, its more a head band size.

Hi. I want to join my scarf at the ends to make an infinity scarf. Is there a video that shows me how? Do i do your stretchy bind off first. What stitch method to sew ends together? Thanks Deborah you make us better knitters.
@DeborahShaw4 жыл бұрын
Do a youtube search because there are a lot of methods and pick one you feel comfortable with maybe even do a practice piece.

Question? On your edges on each end. Is it basically going around 6 times?
@DeborahShaw5 жыл бұрын
3 times one way and 3 times the other...if you go 6 times one way you will get curling.

How many pins should we use?

Figure out how wide you want it and do a bit wider than that. Swatches are the best way.

Hi, Deborah. I have a quick question. I'm still new to knitting, so I don't know the rules about using other people's stitches and selling the knitted items, not the pattern itself. May I ask what your rules are?

just say what stitch and who created it

I notice your edges do not curl in but mine do. I keep my stitches loose but it still curls any suggestions?😊
@DeborahShaw Жыл бұрын
How many rows in on your swatch did the curling start. Did you try different yarns and looms? it will be a tension problem you are having so you need to find what it is that makes your edges tighter than the body...thats what makes curling. the right yarn with the right loom will help so try out different things.
@nujean1 Жыл бұрын
@@DeborahShaw it’s a very thin yarn so that may be the problem because it started curling from the beginning even though I make sure the last 2 stitches are loose still it is so beautiful I will just live with it and try a bulky yarn next time. Thanks for responding. I’m a great fan of your work
