When I get bored with actual farming I switch over and do construction logging and road building with this mod and other modded equipment. I always have a save game of each. Rgc has some awesome productions for construction related things. I love this mod you can always get creative and come up with different things.

Fantastic video. Love your in depth and short explanations. I was very confused by all of this. I played FS 17 & 19 and just came back to 22. Huge changes. Playing on Urjanvaara map and I clear forests for farming. Terrafarm is perfect for those rough forest grounds.

I've found that maps that don't support terrafarm you can still use the roller to smooth and paint path ways.

If game devs didn’t have to cater to console players, farming simulator would look like real life by now.

They can do mods for PC only. It’s actually a mobile simulator so they’d lose out on their biggest market share.

If they didn’t cater to console, they’d lose 3/4th of their sales. The lack of GPU availability during its release also contributed to them dialing things back. I love my PC and play exclusively on it, but console players are the reason this game has become so popular.

One note the bucket collitions is not from terra farm its on the machine mod itself, some modders do this for easier digging and scooping

Good day... I always enjoy your content as much of it is very informative..... I now am having trouble with Terrafarm working. I downloaded it directly from FS Minor. In my key binding options I see Terraform but when I try to activate it on FM Minor equipment pack it will not activate. I'm a bit stumped. Any thoughts or recommendations would be highly appreciated.

It should work on most maps as it uses the in game landscaping tools as the basis for it

I cant for the life of me get this mod to work. I have the latest version, the exact same dozer as you do from the link you provided, disabled all mods except said dozer and terrafarm. I cannot open any of the menus, I even rebound them just in case and nope nothing.

Have you tried it with no other mods installed? Could be a mod conflict

If you terra farm a large portion of your map will it slow down your frame rates in that area

No it shouldn't do, as you are just adjusting the terrain as if you would using the landscaping tool

I have downloaded the terrafarm mod. It said it contains a lot of equipment but it doesn't. I have now downloaded a cat excavator and a 40-60 ton bucket pack that it says they match and work together. But I can't connect the excavator and bucket together. Do you have any idea what might be the issue?

I have finally being able to download terrafarm mod into the game from the website/link you mentioned and now working. I wanted to get the komatsu excavator pc800 that you use here, but I can't find it. Only forward me to page that I don't feel safe with or recognize in terms of fs miner's website either. But I did manage to download komatsu pc 300 with bucket. It works, but I don't get the option to press x to remove bucket collisions. Has it anything to do with the map I'm playing om(krumbach), so you have any ideas what the issue might be? Thanks in advance. Wetmud isn't available either. I got the last version of the terrafarm mod

It would be quite easy to make it for console by using the build menu. You wouldn’t need the scripts.

Terra farm does not work, I've downloaded multiple versions and updates from different websites and it's not working not sure what I'm doing wrong, I delete the previous Terra farm mod before I download a new version. Any tips?? I've watched dozens of videos on how to fix.

You can add Terrafarm to any machine by adding it to the XML

yes. On the github is listed the attachments in basegame that work with it.

No you need to make sure that the vehicle you are using is Terrafarm ready, there are some base game buckets that work too

To be clear, this is NOT directed at TheFarmSimGuy, but rather to the vehicle mods at TS Miner which is a mine field of obtrusive ads, shady links, attempts to trick the user into clicking on what appears to be the download link, but isn't really the download link. The terafarm mod itself is on github, with no sleazy car salesman vibe to it. It set off so many red flags in my head I finally decided it was not worth the risk. I've been in IT for 25 years including security, and the fact that you have to be warned "taken the usual precautionary steps" is itself a major red flag. It should be a simple click, some unobtrusive ads, and the link to the download. Not a forced redirect to youtube, a forced subscribe to their channel, and a forced like to their video, on top of a tsunami of ads, fake download links, and I could go on and on. Don't say you were not warned. :)

The mod doesn’t work with the latest version of the game, and the website doesn’t say what version of the game it supports. Very poor modding practice as I now have to update my game to each previous update untill I find the one it works on

well look at your apex $2400 option for example that's a scam and a half. they always have a sale so it sounds good but its not. a r7 5800x that's fine even tho its last gen but 16gb of last gen ram that's not enough as well as 500gb storage and that's it that's crazy for $2400 and then a rip off gpu. the rtx 4070 is a scam its self. it is worse performance then a rx 7800 xt from amd. its just for what you get its a bit overpriced and they always have a sale so it looks better then it really is@@TheFarmSimGuy

It was in the Github but looks like it's been removed, there's code in the configurations folder for the basegame items that have had it added, might be able to work it out from that
