Just so people aren't confused: this is a separate stand alone card game. You can't add this to the "base game".

Terraforming Mars should learn from Mariposas. That game (I got mine from Amazon) comes with trays for all the tokens. The Target edition seems to inherit all the flaws of the original TM. Flimsy boards, no way to arrange the resources, but having said that, I did get a Target edition not knowing the differences between that and the KS version.

It is astounding how one can manage to show LESS of what's in the box in a quarter hour than a 5 minute average review. It's like a 30 second youtube ad prolonged to 15 minutes with 0 additional information and I know that because a local publisher's ad keeps throwing it in my face.

I agree that the art work is superior to the earlier game. I’ll be curious to discover whether we can complete the game in an hour once the rules are known.

I played a two player game today. We both haven't played the original game since it first came out. It took about 2 hours or so including the teach. We also didn't do the actions simultaneously as we were still getting used to the rules. It definitely scratches the itch for me. This version will work for me since I don't own the original game. As I was packing it up I was already looking forward to playing it again! Haha

I usually solo the original TM in about an hour, sometimes a bit less. Looking forward to seeing if this version can halve that time.
