Hello, Thanks for your video. I am planning to take exam in a week. I see this case study contains lots of details that used to be in earlier version (Before May 2021 release). What is your opinion, should I still consider these level of details for new version of case study - like using ftp, number of fields, data/ second and all. I do not see all these details in new version pdf of case study.

GK, Good Video. This sparks the curiosity to see from Manufacturing domain if Caterpillar, JohnDeere, Hitachi or anyone else using GCP and how their case study learnings map to this one. Also most cases the data streamed these days via IOT in Json or semi structured format and for analysis/analytics users, need it to be transformed and we believe the ETL would be there. For example, if the machine dumps entire data as one event in pub/sub, it might have sections of json, which need to be categorized further, like engine parts/wheel/tire/etc, then there will be some ETL to flatter and transform.

Yes Karthik, there would be ETL most definitely. Google gave very good IOT design for vehicles(link in the description).

Hi, I`m currently studying for the Associate Cloud Engineer course from A Cloud Guru and I`m thinking about taking also the Google IT Automation with Python from Coursera, I`m hoping I can get a job with these 2 and afterwards I will take the Professional Cloud Architect cert, is this a good path? thanks.

Actually, you never wanna send data directly into BigQuery. You always wanna dump it into Cloud Storage first, and then BigQuery
