90s New Orleans if someone said "Gangsta" you knew who they meant. We knew Slim and Baby, they were out there promoting Cash Money. Gangsta was low-key. Not out posing for pics, no mention in magazines. But in the city, his name had the most weight.

whatever you say about Birdman he knew the secret to being untouchable. By the time he made it out the projects he saw what having brothers family like Head Bussa and Gangsta was worth. Same as with ppl he allied himself with in Miami, NYC, Texas and Cali. Smart business for the business they're in.

I've been around America and almost all the hoods in the cities. But New Orleans and Baltimore always stood out to me. I'll throw Memphis in there too. Not saying other cities are soft, but in the cities I just mentioned, I felt the doom in those places as I moved around in them . I salute everyone in those cities from the hood. Because I know they're battle tested

Facts on how the gun game works on the street it’s pretty crazy but when your young you want to put the fear in the streets mostly because your afraid of them damn streets And for good reason but that goes along way amd then true stories become infamous fables that get exaggerated and your built for awhile until someone else wants what you have and more

I remember when my friend came from Katrina and then like a year after that he visited back and caught a murder charge. He came back again and said that they gave him bond, him his cousin who was a stud, and a couple of his other family members were out on bond for completely different murder charges. Around 2008-2009 New Orleans was just letting people out on bond.
