Since I'm seeing the comment a lot: I cannot fish. I can't create housing for the Merchant, who sells the bug net, without breaking the background walls. Said walls are indestructible until I defeat Skeletron. Trust me -- I love fishing. I would've done it first thing if it was an option. ;>

y'know now i wanna see what would legit be just "The dungeon generates throughout the entire world", all the tunnels, all the spikes... Tuned in such a way that it's not gonna end up being 90% empty space. Might be fun, and hellish. If the worldgen can be fine-tuned enough, maybe even have little pockets of the biomes as their own rooms/sections/etc (ie, venture off in one ... horizontal direction, and possibly find a sealed-off room that's the temple, or find a garden that's the forest, or the crimson/corruption).. I know this would likely be beyond you or me, but the concept of this video gave me that idea.

That's what I would've liked too (It does sound rather impossible indeed) All the spikes, bookcases. Water candles all spawn in the world with varying normal and dungeon chests. The water candles would make an interesting source of light.

I'd really like it to be purely overworld forest on the surface, with corruption like tunnels that lead downward into the dungeon. All the biomes besides the forest are underground, including the sky blocks (but space still exists, just with floating dungeons). Hell is just one big dungeon tunnel with traps galore, but all the chests are shadow chests. Under the jungle chest surrounded by the jungle biome is the lihzard temple. Corruption, crimson and hell are surrounded by red dungeon blocks, and have their respective chests in them. Blue blocks for ice, mushroom, and sky. Green blocks for hallow, just under the forest surface, and spider. Mech bosses random spawn more often, and their summoning items drop more as well.

I have an idea to get some mobility, but idk if you can get npcs. you need the merchant though. buy a bug net, catch fireflies (i assume they still spawn), make a wood/reinforced fishing pole, and get crates for sailfish boots/tsunami in a bottle/balloon pufferfish.

Autopause could’ve been utilized to help with all the demon alter shenanigans- also, when you fight skeletron you can enter the dungeon without any guardians other than (obviously) the boss itself. You could utilize this to (maybe) find loot and such while not dying

I feel like you're not using starfury as a sword cause you're only relying on the starfall effect, the sword is both starfall and an actual sword, the reason you get hit by eyes so often is the recoil effect, they are designed to sling around the edge of it and speed at you.

Houses can be made for NPCs out of wood, merchants sell wooden arrows, you can get arrows, even flaming arrows
