You CAN do Infernum WITH master mode, there is a mod that adds support for it. And it’s not fun.

the building the meteor destroyed is just for a pet item, it's nothing serious (added by infernum for killing the aquatic scourge in x amount of time)

Hey, fishing allows you to slightly skip progression at the beginning of hardmode since the crates can get you Titanium or Adamantite before you kill any mechs. Fishing is hella useful.

When creating a world make sure you enable infernum before creating the world as it's increase golem arena size and when playing multiplayer make sure to spawn golem when everybody at the altar literally in it

iirc Calamity is supposed to guarantee that final room of the temple is much larger than normal, so using "cheats" to just expand the tiny arena you got for some reason is fine imo since it's not supposed to be capable of generating that small in the mod.

infernum master mode is a thing, you just need an extra mod for compatibility; Infernum Master and Legendary Modes Patch

You should try challenge yourself and do a solo completion of this as tbh, multiplayer is significantly easier, fight is half the length, bosses target you half the time, and you can die and come back as long as the other player is alive. Supreme Cal is a very hard but fun fight to learn and you learnt nothing and got no better at the game. Hope to see a solo infernum playthrough! Also try use the actual polterghast arena and not use a non-calamity ride to zoom away from dog.

no idea why people bash on summons class. i played it for timmmmmeeeee. it is hands down the most enjoyable class. and even tho we pack wahat like -112389 armor, my whips did 493 dmg.. straight vanilla. i was able to kill almost every boss solo even with my mate standing next to me in the same world,in less then 30 seconds. melee is fun, ranged is boring asf. magic is legit aids, oh and if you have seizures dont play mage... summons is legit the best of the best, its pree much a mix of magic/range/melee. plus you get lil friends to fight for you, fuck a afk farm, just go aafk with like 7 minions and you're good to go

How did you get multiplayer infernum to work? my friend and I have been trying to start a playthrough but whenever he tries to load in it gets stuck on "calamity mod infernum mod" and never loads. (Yes I have tried starting it in singleplayer then hosting which was an older fix but doesnt seem to work)
