I know this comment will probably never reach the light of day, but... I've just thought of a concept for calamity. In the lower layers of the abyss, you can find the mirror of the past (ONLY IF YOU DIDN'T KILL DESERT SCOURGE). Having it equipped and getting run into by him will open a portal which brings you to the enviroment the desert scourge used to live in before it being dried away. (a lush enviroment) therefore the desert scourge in this world is in 100% tip top shape being longer, bigger, faster, stronger, prettier, more vibrant, satiated and more defense. This fight will be endgame. Attacks The scourge will charge at you at insane speeds, if it misses, it whips you with it's tail. Attack #2 It will shoot out spikes from it's sides that fracture into tiny spikes upon collision. Attack #3 The claws at the front will expand from the head, gaining size and length to swin them at you at quick speeds. Attack #4 (No attack yet, recommend some in replies!) Attack #5 (Same as #4.) Phase 2 It will lose some of it's armor and shed, causing it to go even faster. New phase 2 attack He will surround you and shoot spikes in your direction. If a spike collides with another, explodes. Once this attack is over, it burrows underground, then back out causing debris to fly everywhere. New phase 2 attack (No idea what to do for this one either!) The song will be a remix of "Guardian of The Former Seas" but with more drumming, piano and violin along with some choral like in Stained, Brutal Calamity. "Death" animation: Once it reaches 10k health, will spit out items and burrow back into the ground. Items: The first one summons the scourge (tip top shape) to charge into enemies, dealing 50k - 150k summon damage. The second one will be some sort of whip similar to the scourge's (once again tip top shape) tail dealing 20k melee damage. The third one (Recommendations in replies) The fourth one (same as third!) TLDR: guy finds cool ancient mirror then gets a big worm to ram into it and gets transported to a beatiful world where the worm is very strong

awesome concept but i think it being endgame is quite over the top. i think it could be fought around the time that you kill golem and doesn't require you to not have killed desert scourge since it is the past

50K-150K summon damage. Perfectly balanced. Also I think it should drop at least 8 weapons. The 2 summon weapons, a true and normal melee weapon, a magic wand, a gun, a bow, and a rogue weapon of some sort. Maybe even a special material that upgrades victide to be "perfectly balanced" like every other drop?

Desert Nuisances almost killed me on my first playthrough. After that I took like a single hit from the Scourge and was at 10 HP, but managed to beat it anyways because this fight is extremely easy.

I never got the chance to listen to the full song in regular Calamity, but when I began Infernum a few days ago, I truly heard it for the first time. I was actually fearful and died multiple times to the Desert Scourge, and with it being the first boss, it caught me by surprise of Infernum's true difficulty. Amongst my rage and continuous deaths I found this song to be the only thing I looked forward to the fight, and with Infernum's painstaking difficulty, the song could be fully played throughout the fight and only added more suspense to the battle.
