By the way, the Dash Override control is supposed to allow you to change your dash input to a keybind instead of double-tapping This is useful in some bosses where you need to make small precise movements (Such as SCal) This can also be used to build bridges/arenas more effectively without flinging yourself past the edge because you pressed D a frame too early 🙃

I noticed a severe lack of using the slime mount to fall faster. And if the mod disables mounts during boss fights or parts of boss fights, holding the portal gun can make you fall faster too (unless that got disabled as well).

Great video, also a good example of how this mod is more just interactive rather then raw difficulty stacked on the original mod, not joshing your skills, if anything I’m saying your better then average because at the end of the day, you had 12 “essential” (essential my ass) buffs missing from your load outs and still excelled in this mod, good show bijou, jolly and bloody good show

And infernum is a good show of how people are to used to barely moving in a boss fight, I’d say in terms of dodging the attacks the boss throws out, it’s easier then even vanilla bosses with the main difference being, you can straight up overpower a same progression point boss with raw stats, infernum is REAL boss fights, attack and movement patterns, stages, gimmicks, reticules and indicators, a violent explosion of a last stand at the end, these are fucking boss fights, as god intended.

Quick note on the onyx lab, there is only one onyx lab and that lab searcher you made pointed to it. The random small labs that you find underground are different than the onyx one and the onyx lab has a really cool mount that mines really fast

This mod is the only thing in terraria to ever make me use a defensive build to beat it. Also I think part of the reason you hated/struggled with lasers so much is because the mod kind of expects you to use a slime mount for the faster falling. This also helped with a lot of the attacks in Yharon where the dash wasn’t fast enough to keep up with him.

does it? i honestly never felt like i needed to use the slime mount, i just used the fast fall mechanic calamity adds whenever i needed it

dunno if anyone's told you yet, but you can put a gravestone into the crafting interface of magic storage to let you do the graveyard biome conversions without having to make a graveyard

Pretty sure you were fighting an enraged polterghast. It enrages if your arena is too big and if you leave the dungeon (both of which you were doing)

I knew as soon as you built that map sized bridge in the underworld that something bad was going to happen. I didn't know what Infernum specifically had in store, but I did that in Revengence mode once and it broke my abyss which caused all the water to flood out and then I couldn't go in there as you can't survive in the abyss without the water as it kills you rapidly.

Hey, AlchemistNPC Lite dev here. Sorry, didn't work with mods compatibility for a while. In current latest version, probably all Calamity mod incompatibilities are fixed and lifeforce effect on combinations actually works. Also, readded Thorium mod support and partially, Mod of Redemption support. P.S.: Sometimes, Greater Dangersense potion can be bad, especially on Providence and Moon Lord boss fights. Originally, I made it for 1.3 Queen Bee night time battle, when stingers were really small. But for glowing projectiles, especially Moon Lord ones, it somehow makes them barely visible.
