Well, Chippy DID help spread the rumor, never mentioning that the conveyors never bothered regular mobs to begin with, let alone the Old mans Army event mobs. As well as others I'm sure. Never once have I seen a video on conveys that actually mention their inability to function on mobs as a whole, just players, npcs and items. Never. I'm so glad you said that, since far more popular, far more ignorant youtubers never bothered. You deserve more fans, views, subs, search results, likes... Just more of it all..

I know this is old, but for anyone wondering, you can totally do this. Just make sure there are no holes in your hoik, and it'll bring the crystal to the end of the world. This makes the event super easy, but it also seems to cause lag. No idea why though. You can even send it flying off the map, but I don't suggest it. The enemies just fly down instantly and it makes them a pain to deal with.

What if you fill a chest with full stacks of bunnies, but you also put 1 stack of etherian mana in there. Then quick stack to nearby chests with another bunny stack in your inventory. Open the chest during the next Old one’s Army. WHAT’S IN THERE, THE BUNNY STACK OR THE MANA? Plz like so mappy can make a video on this By the way it doesn’t have to be bunnies xD

Hey Mappy, I found out a fun little tidbit. Since Redigit fixed it to where Etherian Mana gets removed from chests outside of the event, you can actually use the Money Trough to get E. Mana outside the event.

Heres an idea for a AFK-ALL farm with the horsemans blade. Dummy invincibility and crab statues hooked up to where crabs fall on you and get hit by the horsemans blade summoning pumpkins. (Manniquinn engine for the crab pumpkin farm) (Use a small semiheavy object to hold the ATK key on PC, a rubber band for controller)

You know, if it was anyone else I would have expected some dumb recommended weapons or arena builds or whatnot in the video. But with Mappy, I get several different arena builds, wire systems, and some exploits. If it doesn't get fixed, I am 100% using that thing with the chest of Etherian Mana for my worlds.

If you activate it while in a party the enemies will spawn but the event will not be considered active (no waves or Eternia mana) also in multiplayer only the server host can see ghost mode enemies or portals

You've neglected a bit on hoiks. Etherian Mana counts as Size 1 and as such can be hoiked in steps to the right, allowing for much more efficient gathering. Oddly enough, when placing Lighting Aura sentries on top of my hoik-vator (which had actuable blocks and then a solid layer underneath) caused the Sentries to FALL THROUGH the SOLID layer. I'm also sure that much, much more can be done with hoik loops than just "looking nice.."

The video game badger figured out a way to hoik to the crystal to the far right being both portals. He also had the crystal hoik into a A box. From there he just farmed the event. The dark Mage couldn't even spawn his skeletons on the the crystal

Hey, for the hoiking the crystal to one side of the portals, i'm having trouble getting it to work properly. Is there a specific setup you need to get the crystal to go back up to the other side? My crystal typically gets stuck near the upper platform, but low enough so that the enemies become see through.

In order to afk this you can use the classic afk frost moon/pumpking moon farm (Saying it will work Im yet to test it) With the invincibility machine and traps. Now because the old ones army ignores lava and treadmills IDK if it will but its an idea. If you dont know what Im talking about to go HappyDays' channel and look for his AFK farm.
