Import shapefile & calculate SAVI using Landsat 8 image in Google Earth Engine

Welcome to this tutorial on calculating the Soil Adjusted Vegetation Index (SAVI) using Landsat 8 imagery in Google Earth Engine (GEE). In this video, we'll guide you through the process step by step.
In this tutorial, we start by importing the Landsat 8 image collection, filtering it based on the area of interest (AOI) and date. Then, we visualize the study area on the map. Moving on, we define the SAVI calculation function and apply it to the image collection. We also clip the SAVI images to the AOI for better analysis. Finally, we visualize the SAVI layer using predefined parameters.
