I honestly think it was more Disney than Fox. I feel like Star didn’t fit in with what Disney stands for, due to a lot of LGBT+ representation, so it was scrapped.

@@jtaylor6493 - that doesn't make sense (no disrespect). Disney already owned ABC which has LGBTQ+ prominent characters and storylines on major shows. So even after acquiring Fox, there wouldn't be a reason for cancelling a show if it was successful. Also, Disney owns FreeForm, which was called ABC Family, and their shows have LGBTQ+ representation. People keep wanting to say something doesn't fit Disney's brand is antiquated. Disney has evolved and isn't all white bread Disney anymore. Sometimes shows need an audience to continue and when the numbers fall and after shifting to another night there's no increase in viewership it has to be cut. Sometimes it simply is what it is - high numbers keep a show on, low numbers don't.
