He is a person of mixed race, like most American's... and... whatever he is mixed with makes him "who HE is". Not every black person are "predominately mixed with African"... so ... not all "black" people are "African American". We are all different.... and that's ok. The concept of the one-drop rule has been primarily applied by white Americans to those of sub-Saharan black African ancestry, when some whites were trying to maintain some degree of overt or covert white supremacy. This rule meant many mixed-race people, of diverse ancestry, were simply seen as African-American, and their more diverse ancestors forgotten and erased, making it difficult to accurately trace ancestry in the present day. How is that ok? That being said, why would he deny ANY part of himself... why... should he have to? I don't know what issues he really has with his self-esteem, etc., that's something that he will have to figure out. And others need to stop comparing themselves with him.

Some of our brothers/sisters have straight hair and pointed noses and YES they are 100% BLACK!!!! The Ethiopians, Somalis, Senegalese, Yorubians, Gambians, and some tribes in South Africa have a look that would be considered bi-racial by the ignorant masses here. Yet they are 100% BLACK!!! I know some people buy into the narrative stereotype that we all have nappy hair and broad noses, dark skin, full big lips but in Africa there are indeed many variations on our color, hair texture, and facial features. His tail is black and I’m not changing it. For him to deny otherwise would paint him as a fool.

Being in jail hurt that family especially if Terrance father was the bread winner. And the man in the mall just wanted to do a hate crime against a black man. Terrence father got the jump on the man and this man didn't expect that or Terrence father would have been a statistic of black men killed due to hate crime and this is sad because, in the absence of his father during this crucial time in his life who became Terrance role model during this time. Terrence father got locked up, when it should have been a self defence call, but they don't believe you should defend yourself against them. The decision of the judge prove this by giving his father jail time. In other words even if you defend yourself you are wrong. They want black males dead. A very very sad reality. I commend Terrence Howard and any black man for making it this far and I pray for his continuous healing. 😙
