I bet that dealer says "Yeah, everything is okay" rather than look through all the books because it's easier for him to apologize rather than do the work. Of course he would have no idea how many customers that really costs him.

The dealer you bought from should be aware of every defect in the books he sells. How are you supposed to trust him if he doesn't at least look through the books? Now the guy who is stealing from local businesses should be facing justice, and if you get to him before the police get there perhaps a few dings and bruises ha ha. Great autographs and pictures of some really famous actors/actresses! absolutely love it!

Totally feel you about the stealing. Been a lot of that at shows recently it seems, both at toy and comic shows that we've been attending in the last year there has been a lot of issues with that.

I stress the same point in a lot of my videos about checking books. Especially when buying at conventions. I don't have a hard line based on price or era, but Silver and Golden for sure. A lot of Bronze too because of the MVS. I don't want incomplete books nor do I want the inconvenience of buying that book again. Also, wasting money is never cool.

oh... clive parker has gotton old - really didn't catch that. Never looked how old the doku/interviews i watched with him were... guess he did them all very back in the day. Always made the impression on me to be a super nice guy!

Take the books back at the next show, and talk to the seller. It maybe that he was unaware, and will be devastated. See what he says, and see what he offers in recompense, but check all his books at the table. Your end credit should probably say "January" :)
