TERRIBLE NEWS for Harrison Burton after WBR's AWFUL STATEMENT!

Harrison Burton pulled it off and won the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway in overtime! Harrison may have lost his job in 2025, but he now has his first career NASCAR Cup Series triumph. But he is also in a lot of trouble due to his unclear future. Have we almost seen the last of him?

I think consistancy is most important. winning just one race doesnt make you top caliber. Highest number of race points should be the deciding factor. There should be just one bonus point for winning a stage and two points for winning the race. And lastly. There should be only one NASCAR Champion. Not a points champion and a season champion.

Winning a race should not qualify you for the playoffs. Now winning a race should earn you a ton of points but not automatically get you in. Also 12 drivers not 16. The Championship is about the whole season, not 1 race.

NASCAR IS LIKE THE NFL, it’s all business and Politics . These drivers risk their lives for a paycheck , it’s their passion but they’re scrutinized by NASCAR , Fans , Owners every one . I’ll tell you it’s lonely at the top or the bottom in this sport . NASCAR needs an overhaul or a Competitor to even the playing field . Bring back Asphault Short Track racing , and start a new Chapter of Racing where the drivers participate in the rules and guides sorta live by the sword die by the sword . Thing I hate most is 1 race deciding the champion with that final4 I think that final 4 should have a short track / mile and a half / and either a crapchute superspeedway or something unique like a Pocono or even a fan fav road course . Time for NASCAR to return to a Championship points system much like they used to use. Say the drivers who are in the top twenty five in points standings at the end of the regular season with a race win are in the playoffs, other spots go to the drivers highest in the point standings. Best performance for the entire season competing for the Championship. JMO

He raced cleanly and out drove Kyle Busch at the coke zero sugar 400 at Daytona summer speedweeks and didn't wreak anyone to win like ole mr Dillon. He deserves to be there more than ole whinny Wallace. Wallace is an ok driver but seems like he just cant push his equipment to make it as fast as he needs it to be. He has a few top five finishes and couldn't find that little bit more of power to get a win. He doesn't have that save and still be fast enough to get close and then let it all hangout to pass anyone for the win. Doubtful he'll get it done at Darlington. I hope Kyle Busch finds a way to win the southern 500 and keep wallace out. Maybe he will use the last 10 races to learn that skill of staying in contention till the end and then showing your hand. He needs to learn from his friend Ryan Blaney , the champion.

It all started when 2003 matt kenseth won the championship trophy with 1 win but he was really consistent and Ryan Neumann won 8 times and had alot of dnfs
