Terrific lightning storm, Austin TX, Oct 02, 2014

I watched the same storm for about 20 minutes. The video is awesome but still doesn't show how magnificent a show it actually was!

I agree -- I'm not a photographer and have neither the skill nor equipment to capture it well. This viewing angle is too small, trees are in the way, and I'm sure there is some setting which would have allowed for capturing the dynamic lighting range better.

I made a video of this storm as well! It was the most intense light show I had ever seen and still to this day!

God's light show, we can make lightning artificially, in a lab but it ain't as good as the real thing
